I'm frustrated because it's just a dial tone when I answer. Therefore I can't give them a piece of my mind and tell them what I truly think ! Lucky for them hey.

yup they are ringing me on my mobile.. two rings.. ring back and it answers and then gives me engaged tone .. SCAMMMMMMM

Same claim that it was Yellow Pages checking listing details and then trying to flog "upgraded listing services". Was busy and didn't pay much attention until I twigged they said YP Melb and it was this Perth number. I then just hung up. Of course it was an Indian operator...

Ringing me every second day but hangs up. I never call back due to reading this forum. Bloody annoying

This number, and a couple similar ones, call my business number every few days. SO ANNOYING i have to stop work to answer some bull**** call...FRUSTRATING. But thats what i get from advertising on 100000000 search engines i guess :(

Driving me nuts, Telstra complaints say they are trying to have the number shut down but want to charge me $2 per month to block the number from my phone

Helen is right. I just received my mobile bill. I in Perth and I had called the number back twice after it rang and once at the end of the day and it clicked off each time but I was still billed $1.14 each time. Definite scam.

I also have been getting this number alot of times, and have not answered them. Rings only a couple of times and never leaves messages. Plus it is annoying if previous complaints. I am also on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER. so much for that. Placed on reject list

They claim to be Sensis. They say they are from Melbourne but ()* STD is South Australia. Their information is old and SENSIS have up to date details. This is a scam and they even say they do not have a return number. hang up on them.

I receive a call from this number everyday for the last 2 weeks. When I call back it does not ring. I agree - I am blocking this number from my iphone. Very annoying.
I am concerned by Helen's message that she was billed for calls from this number that she did not make.

Purports to be Yellow Pages wanting to confirm details. however it is more likely a call centre wanting to extract info. The phone number disconnects up when calling it to check validity.

They keep calling, when you answer they have hung up. Web you call back, busy tone. Some kind of scam/spam.

Well if it is in fact SENSIS (a reputable company dealing in Telephone Number directories), why don't they have the decency to behave themselves and actually talk to the people they are calling, instead of the hang up.

If they do get through to me, I shall keep them well amused / not.
