No message - Called back answered with "Fundraising Call Centre "Apple Marketing" "

Any nuisance calls such as Apple Marketing, I save the phone number to my phone list and then adjust the ring tone to "NO RING " before saving the phone entry. That way, when ever Telemarketers ring, my phone remains silent and the call never gets answered.

They've rung a few times. When I see a number I don't recognise, I don't answer. If they really want to speak to me they'll leave a message.

You don't have to be with Telstra to get these calls.

What a waste of my time and energy its a SCAM ,but my husband got them Saturday night he answered and told them that he was the City Morgue, boy did that shut them up ...haven't had a call from them since......

daily calls at home and on mobile around 3pm 7pm AWST, they are now blocked

They've been calling every day and don't leave a message on my answering machine, or hang up before I can pick up.
I read on Reverse Aust that a number that is one digit different, therefore coming from the same call centre, acts on behalf of charities calling for donations. They are protected from the 'Do not Call' list.

Am getting far too many of these calls each day. Please can't they be requested not to ring. Or better still prosecuted for ringing outside hours. Have had more than my share of these calls.

Try downloading the free app Tru Caller - when one of these callers rings it displays on your screen "spam" and then you know not to answer it.

Our phone blocker diverted them to chat with "Its Lenny". Scammer Vs scammer, I wonder who won?

I recently discovered that my mobile phone has a call reject function. This number has now been added to a growing list of numbers that are blocked. My landline phone has a similar function, also now with a growing list of barred numbers. I just wish there was a way to leave an automated very rude message as well.

Received a call from above number today 13 March 2024 (07) 5657 9018) at 12.15pm, did not answer, no message left on message bank.

Calls from this number are blocked and diverted to my scammer answering machine. The caller chatted to my answering machine for 10 minutes before it hung up them - scam the scammer!

This phone number is and (07) 5657 9013 have been constantly ringing us almost daily for over 6 months now. When we answer all we get is either a automated answering service saying thank you for calling them, or it is hung up in our ear! If the phone call was only a scam, I do not feel that they would ring us so often without going into the scam details. I think it is a disgruntled telemarketer trying to annoy us as my husband can be curt to some telemarketers. As others have said we are seriously thinking about cancelling our landline which will be a huge task. Why should we get to this point before they are made to stop. Obviously they are being a problem to many people so something needs to be done.
