This number calls me at least 3 time a week, for the last few months......But not anymore......BLOCKED.
Legal Assist at it again.

Received information that I was involved in an accident? Where do they get this information? such an invasion of our privacy

Caller: "Legal Assist"

I love peeing these guys off. I've watched sooo many videos on the right things to say, it's my bit of fun. Yeah tried to say from "Legal Assist", Car accident blah blah blah. Told them yeah the car accident happened in Denmark, "the country?" was the next question, nah in WA mate. Police report and insurance claim done as well. "Oh I will contact or paralegal and call back". HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Yeah right. But if they do, fun part 2 time.

Total scam and nuisance. Another addition to my blocked list.

Said they were “Legal Assist” and much like the comments above they were saying that I’d been in some kind of accident. I let them know that I just arrive 1 day in Australia then the hung up.

Caller: Legal Assist, not an Indian accent though. Could be English.

Told me I was involved in a car accident three years ago. I said no not me.
he then hung up. Scammer. I have blocked the call. I get three to four of these nuisance calls each day. Mostly Indians all working in a call centre.

Caller: This person claiming to be from legal assist.

This person claiming to be from legal assist called me and ask if I was in an motor accident for the past two years.
I didn’t answer him and he hung up.
This is a total scam.

Thick accent told me You driver had car accident I told him I did not he said don’t lie! Wow rude or what I replied well seeing I don’t drive bit hard to be the driver involved he started to argue i told him to get a real job and hung up. When I tried to call the no back went straight to busy tone. Beware people

The caller advised I had been in a accident. They have called a few times. On the first occasion I replied "Not the Helicopter" which left them dumb founded and they hung up. On the second occasion I told them I was blind and hence did not own a car or drive then served it up to them for harassment and asked to speak to their supervisor to lodge a complaint but they hung up. On the third occasion I only managed to say these words " I work for the Federal ……. and they hung up before I could finish saying hotel. How fricken rude. LOL

Lady Indian accent and said that someone from this number has had an accident in the last two years and I said no(knowing it’s a scam) waited and then she said has anyone else in the family had an accident in the last two years, I said no and she started to talk so I hung up

Caller: SCAMMER

Indian woman said hi using my mother's name and I said I am her daughter then same as others accident in the last 2 years. I swore and said your a beep beep scammer and to beep beep off and that this is being recorded and will be given to the FBI and beep beep off.

Asked about an accident told her I don't have a car she asked if anyone else had an accident told her to ring them and ask she hung up

By not answering I seem to have avoided a scammer.

Keeps calling then hanging up as soon as you answer

I dont answer unknown numbers. I found these reports. I am now blocking.

Caller: Bob Den

Received phone call with telephone number on my screen as 0480 046 097 at 9:44 WST. Man spoke quickly with a foreign accent. I asked him to slow down and speak in English. Information I received from him after slowing him down:
- His name was Bob Den
- He was from Legal Assist located at 200 George Street in Sydney
- He told me the telephone number for Legal Assist is (02) 8003 3393
- He said I had had an accident in the last two years (untrue)
- He said they received my number from their database

I hung up. Definitely a scam. Fortunately the Australian accent is difficult to learn.
Ironically my number is on the Do Not Call Register in Australia.
