Buy a uniden 8355 phone or another type which lets you put call blocks on all these numbers as they ring. It's great. Now when they call the phone rings once and the screen shows " call blocked"

Frequent nuisance calls from this number, call several times each day. I don't know who they are, they never leave a message and as it's not a familiar number I won't pick it up. If you call the number back it advises the number is disconnected. Scammers no doubt.

I answered the call with a repeated Mandarin greeting Wei Ni Hao (way nee how) and then repeated Meiyou (mayo) which is No when they spoke and then saying Man Da Rin, Man Da Rin (language Mandarin).
They hung up. lol.

I get these calls everyday. I do not understand why the telco's will not fix this, they collect big revenue from customers but will not do a dam thing about fixing it.
1. telco's must be making money from this.
2. the do not call reg does not work.
3. they have the technology to stop this but they will not. its making share holders money.
4. the Government should force their hand to fix this.
5 I am gunna get rid of my home phone, can't afford it anyhow.
6. I think Telstra does have a way of blocking numbers, its not easy to find unless they have removed it.
7. on my phone it says if you input #60 you can block the last call, think Telstra have blocked this function.

Caller: (03) 9689 5258 SCAMMER
Scam caller. Left a 'hello' on my answering machine. I know it's a scam caller because I dialled the number and it said "number is not in service". Obviously I am not that stupid as to accept anyone offering ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE, I do not care if you are a government official, a charity worker, a survey company, someone calling to give me money, IF YOU RING ON THE PHONE AND I DON'T KNOW YOU IT AUTOMATICALLY MEANS YOU ARE A SCAMMER. I Promise if you turn up to my house you will be treated accordingly and most likely you will need an ambulance if you do indeed survive. Bring it on.

I stupidly answered the phone to these idiots; they keep asking for a man who has never been associated with the number they called. I have told them to remove the number from their list, or I will report them to Do Not Call register.
It's about the government LED light program, where they offer you "free" LED light bulbs, but they then demand payment for the "free" product.

Have called 3 times today, I answer, they don't say anything and hang up after a few seconds. Very disruptive to my workflow. Tried to call back and the number was disconnected

Caller: I often get calls - silence. I just hang up and don't speak
Let all your friends why you don't answer. I won't have anything to do with a certain race of people because of these pests. Very sad for decent people.

6 times these cnuts reached our message bank and did not leave a message. The last time they called, i answered hello, nothing, they hung up. No doubt a bunch of scamming pricks. How is it that Telstra etc, allow these scammers to use their network? Surely this would make the telcos implicit to their criminal activity !
Do you have a comment about (03) 9689 5258?
