Caller: Telstra NBN Not a scam - its Telstra NBN department. Case manager for your booking until start to finish so you dont have to deal with multiple people
I asked them to verify my order number so I can ensure they are who they say they are and all information was correct.
As mention in another comment below (was an indian - so dont think its just a scam)

Caller: Claims to be from Telstra Claims to be calling to confirm my NBN installation appointment. I cancelled the NBN installation weeks ago, and told them I didn't want it. I confirmed it had been cancelled in a Telstra shop. They looked it up online, and confirmed it was cancelled. I have been called twice since then "to confirm my appointment" and when I say I'm not having it connected, they ask for my DOB. Always men with an Indian accent. SCAM

Caller: Telstra NBN Connections NOT a scam. We had changed to a different Telstra NBN service and I had not yet connected new modem to UNI-D 2 port. Caller could tell that I was not yet using the new service so called to check if I needed connection help. I have also called the normal Telstra phone number and have been transferred to the same department. Both times the person had an Indian accent.

Called to correct a problem with my NBN. Coincidently it was installed last week and is working fine. I said so and hung up. I later saw an SMS from 0428 112 094 advising that I would receive a call from Telstra. I received a later sms after I hung up, giving me a link and 1800 number to call. The link seemed to go to Telstra, but had an error. I'm not sure if it is legitimat

Caller: claims to be from Telstra I had five phone calls today on my mobile via another mobile number, advising me that my NBN and home phone will be disconnected within 24 hours. The NBN is in my fathers name not mine. I rang Telstra and they told me that they have no idea about any disconnection and that Telstra never ring their customers but send emails or SMS. Just received another call on this number on my husbands mobile saying they are from Telstra. Total scam.

Caller: Telstra This is NOT a scam number. We have upgraded to a different Telstra NBN service and I had inadvertently connected the modem to the wrong port. Telstra could see that we had not yet connected to the new service so were checking to see if I needed help with the connection. I have to confess I was concerned the first time I rang the number (plus a 1800 number that was in mail we received from Telstra) when on both occasions the staff member had an Indian accent but each time I called it I received a lot of assistance from them.

Caller: Scammers One report here say that Telstra NBN has used this number for 23 years - says a person purporting to be working for Telstra (for the same 23 years), funny though that the first connections of NBN only happened in 2010 - so just 13 years ago (you stuffed up scammers by 10 years).

I got a call from this number ...
Posted on April 14, 2023 Caller type: Unknown Location: Australia
Caller: Scammer I think the so called legitimate messages here are BS, as I got a call tonight, wanting to confirm my personal details for an up coming Telstra NBN installation - funny that I am NOT with Telstra, and DON'T even have cable nor wire internet at home I use Felix - and run everything at home (internet wise) via hotspotting off my phone (only $35 a month by the way) - so I'm not sure what is going on here. I know that NBN people (with access to peoples accounts) have been selling peoples phone numbers, of people actually planning NBN installations, bit then just eventually get your Cc details as part of their story. Unless you have a verifiable number to call back on (not one someone thatbcalls you to call back on), then I would caution you to give anyone your details) - if they start asking for your Cc, tell them to rack off, and hang up.
