SCAMMERS, People on here saying they not, are obviously part of the set up, they are very convincing, same mob been emailing my dad, about issues with his bill, dead set, looks identical to to Telstra logo, and web page. But just have to look at end of email address to see it was fake. Dunno what these buggers use, but no questions asked it's a scam.

Received two calls that i didnt answer that went to voicemail. First message confirmed appointment for NBN second within a few hours cancelling the appointment saying it was because i am unavailable which isnt true.

Ive been dealing with telstra on chat on the app and notified them of whats happened. Like usual they arent very helpful but i have worked out that these calls are legit

Comes down to the incompentency of Telstra.

There's a theme in this thread that this number ((03) 9319 2000) is associated with legit Telstra calls AND non-legit Telstra/nbn calls. Very strange.
I've had a few calls from this number (didn't answer) and coincidently, we (my husband) has been organising for Telstra to supply us with nbn. All phone calls and contact with the legitimate Telstra has been with my husband's phone only. My phone number is part of the account, but not part of organising nbn supply. What's even more odd is that the Telstra tech installed it on Monday and today (Thursday) I'm still getting another random call from this number. I can't see a legitimate reason for Telstra to contact me regarding the nbn connection since the installation is complete and it's working fine.
Make of all this what you will..............................

Started by confirming my name - then wanted me to tell her my date of birth. My provider already has all of my information. She (Indian) was insistent - I said I was not comfortable with the call and hung up. Blocked number.

Scammers. Appears they are spoofing their CLI to present this number which, 2hen you call it back, goes to Telstra RVA saying to call 132200.

But yeah, massive scammers!!!

Not a scam. This is a legitimate Telstra number. They called me in relation to me trying to change my number over from Belong to Boost. *Telstra looks after boost. Indian gentleman on the phone, but definitely legit.

Scam. Called to confirm nbn installation by Telstra and if I wanted any other services. This was installed over 1 year ago. Rang Telstra and confirmed not them.

Caller: Telstra NBN Dedicated Connections Manager

Legitimate calls in my case, as I had arranged for Telstra to connect NBN. For people getting calls after Telstra NBN connection has been cancelled, this might be due to poor internal communication at Telstra. And if you *haven't *arranged NBN connection, it *is* a scam (for you) and the calling number will be spoofed. If in doubt, ask the caller some question only Telstra would know. If you later get Telstra NBN connected, don't forget to unblock this number in your phone.

Claims to be a Telstra partner and ringing about NBN order. We have NBN with another provider for many years so clearly a scam or trick to make you switch to their NBN retail service

Scammer. As soon as he said can you state your name, address and DOB I said no. He said I'll send you a text and I said send me an email request. He said we don't send emails, just text.

golly, a text then 2 phone calls that went to my voicemail, with one dead silence except for the sound of water running in the background. Really looking forward to the second NBN connection to boost my speed.......LOL. Oh, yeah, this connection was completed more than a year ago, so a "follow up" on the install is a red flag.

Received a call (and subsequent VM) from this number wishing to discuss my nbn connection.
This followed on from a text last week confirming an order that I didn’t make!!

I already have nbn thank you very much - and not with Telstra either..

Next time they’ll get the referee whistle right into their eardrums - maybe THEN they’ll get the message!!!
