If u r a customer (Yarra Valley Water as an example) I don’t believe the “do not call register” rules apply unless you actively opt out with the supplier.

Called and didn't leave a message. I don't live anywhere near Victoria so a number like this has no reason to be calling me.

Caller: CompuShare is what she said. Very dodgy!!!

Woman Called my mobile asking for another person who lives here then tried to verify if calling on the landline which was incorrect anyway, was way to go to reach person. I Said “no However I’m quite concerned about this call who are you and where are you calling from or on behalf of”. She said “I’m calling from CompuShare and just given names in a list to call. So then should I mark this one as wrong number then ? “. “Yes “ I said and ended call. Looked up compushare and found no info listed with the shortened version of the company name, but did find ‘computer share’ in Melbourne however not in Dandenong which is where she was calling out of according to my phone display.
Dodgy. She was a middle aged Aussie too. I suppose a job is a job when your desperate for money… unsettling though.

Call comes up saying it's from Dandenong. I don't know anyone there and they haven't left a message. They've called 4 times and I refuse to answer. Will now be blocking the number.
