(03) 8779 1823 keeps calling, leaves no message.

Above number called. Said they were ringing on behalf of my water service provider in the Greater Shepparton area. I don’t live in Greater Shepparton and I don’t have a water provider as I live on tank water. Also part of the DNCR but apparently that’s pointless these days.

Had call from this number, didn't answer, no message left. Called them back found the were research group on their message bank. Found out from this site who they were, another number to block , thought I was on do not call register

Just had a call from TKW Research to my unlisted, DO NOT CALL registered number. She claimed to be calling on behalf of my "water provider." After asking her four times which provider, she eventually came up with the correct one for my area. I told her that I am on the DNCR. She claimed that research companies are exempt. Having worked extensively in (legit) call centres, I told her that she was lying. I hung up, and called my provider, Central Highlands Water. They know nothing of this company, and appreciated the heads up.

Caller: Have called a few times.. when i return their call their message says they are a market research company

Market research for your local water service and supply. If you do not want to answer the questions, just decline at the beginning when asked, and they won’t call you back. (TKW will not remove your number from their database, and will likely call you back later when they are commissioned to do a new service survey, but now you know their number, you can block it and prevent future call backs.)

Called me on a Saturday @ 10:30am wanting to do research on behalf of Goulburn Valley water.

Felt a bit suspicious. So I told them I would not divulge any information and hung up.

No message, but an unrecognised number. I live in the Bendigo region of Victoria, nothing t do with Melbourne water. Pretty sure that it's a scam. Therefore, deleted message and won't respond. Like the rest of you, sick and tired of this rubbish and of similar attempts to obtain my personal details.

Missed call along with the mountains of others atm and do not leave a msg. My ph advises its TKW research group and I looked it up by the number and seen these comments. Another one I will have to block I think thats nearly 30 numbers this month alone I am getting really annoyed with this and you block them and they use another number I had 5 calls alone from 1 yesterday! And all the time its taking me to block them and I am reporting some also along with the dam scam texts for packages grrrr. I am not doing a survey or reasearch thankyou unless I have agreed to and accepted it. So go away my business is my dam business and going by the above comments some are very personal that aint happening. Something needs to be done about this. I even had to turn my ringer off and am even thinking about changing my ph number.

I live in Woodvale outside of Bendigo where there is no water supply so everyone has tanks.
Why would they be phoning me?

Annoying,repeat caller,scammer saying they are doing research… Block them straight.

I got a call from this number, but they failed to leave a voicemail. Phoned the number back and got a recorded message, however, the name of the company with illegible. What I could make out, it's a research company. Blocked number.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. They called on my work mobile so I don't know where they got the number. I don't live anywhere near Victoria

Keeps calling. No messages. Scam. Block them.

Caller: Yarra Valley Water Survey

I already wasted 10 minutes of my time a few months ago for YVW and got nothing from them to say thank you. And it was very detailed. But to think that I might again be made a fool of with another survey, well anyway I told them what they could do with their survey. I'm sorry I ever helped them out, cause I got nothing for my valuable time. Isn't taking my money every three months enough!

I just got a call - no message was left as I didnt get to it.

Woman said she was (supposedly) looking for a 'Marita (something or other - didn't catch the surname). Told her there was nobody of that name here. Then, realising that she'd called a business number, she excused herself and hung up.

If u r a customer (Yarra Valley Water as an example) I don’t believe the “do not call register” rules apply unless you actively opt out with the supplier.
