Calling regarding a survey on behalf of Goulburn Murray Water. Advised caller that I am on the Do Not Call register, and if they called again I would lodge a formal complaint against them. Caller started talking over me so I invited them to stick their script into the input/output port of their choice and seek life elsewhere.

Never picked up the phone, but Hiya said it’s them yet again. I have blocked their number two times before and each time they seem to have a different number. If I won’t pick up the phone when my best friend calls, I won’t pick up to hand over my data to a nuisance caller.

Caller: A water company

I was scammed by a water company, thousands over the years.
I found out it was an inside job, so I got a lawyer and later free water for a bit.
Not all of it back though. Cut it short, I think this is how it happened, I gave someone my details then I got fake bills and a different bill number. finding an older bill with a different bill number I figured it out.

I got the same call asking me which AFL team I follow and which state I'm from

Claimed to be from Quantum Market Research and asked me “two quick questions” about my support of AFL teams. Team and State I'm from?

Got the 'which team do you support' from this number with an Indian accent, definitely genuine (not), another hijacked Aussie number used by an overseas scam factory somewhere in Mumbai or Kolkata me thinks.

Claimed to be from a market research company and wanted to ask me “two quick questions” about my support of AFL teams. I told her I don’t support nor have any interest whatsoever in AFL. What a weird topic to be doing market research on, especially as they called me on a work-owned mobile number, which is registered to a NSW address 🙄

I am nowhere near Yarra Valley so why are they calling me? I blocked and send to spam. I also reported the number . I do this with all these numbers that call me. So over this invasion of privacy. I did not give anyone my number for anyone to call me. So yeah Major Pissed here !!!
Heads Up spammers “Stop calling” and if legit companies are getting my details be sure to be slapped with a legal bill in the near future… cause I am coming for all of you guys who are using my details… especially when I have a new number and haven’t given it to anyone as yet!

Received call from this number on a Saturday afternoon. Didn't answer as I didn't recognise. They left no voicemail. I feel that a legitimate business caller should leave a voicemail message. Had my suspicions confirmed here

Called at 8pm on a Friday night. I ignored the call and they called again. If it’s the same as everyone else’s comments here and it’s a company doing “research “ for a Melbourne water company, I don’t even live in Victoria! Blocked
