scam calling and hangs up

Been caught with this number a week or two back, trying to sell insurance. This time I did not answer and figured if they were for real they would leave a message on my automatic message bank. No such luck.

this number has been calling me for weeks now--I hung up when I realised he was selling insurance, but he calls me at least once a day.Not impressed

Totally rude! They change the number & keep calling. When you say your not interested they hang up on you, then call you back from another number….!

I must say thanks to those above who have left a resume of what happened in any conversation and say that you are brave if not foolhardy to tempt fate with these unknowns. I don't pick up at all if I can't see who is calling anymore because the IT of the dialling robots is that of you pick up they lodge a call fee for service weekly into your Telco provider and the deduction of a small weekly fee is hard to detect until
The monthly account arrives and once this is inadvertently overlooked these days as just s small pulse on your regular plan bill it may be established as a direct billing if you actually ring back and talk to the scammers you are also at risk because the response is termed a positive one even if you said No several times these are highly motivated criminal minds who are as opportunistic as any thief . The joy of new technology is like the power of the gun, in some cases it is good to use but there are possibilities of bad outcomes , certainly one must use good sense with every new device now placed in our hands as the inventions are broadly labor saving. Best you pass this message on to children of all ages the earlier the better while it sounds cynical to be telling little people a story about nuisance callers because their contact time is going to be a long time much much longer than mine cause I am an older person who needs funeral insurance or any insurance like a hole in the head I'm too far gone for any risk broker to seriously offer a good deal to for $1.74 per week. A guy called me just then and had my name, number and post code. He asked if I had any personal insurance. When I said I had car insurance but I'm happy with it he kept asking for details. He said I will get a follow up call later in the week.
I'm definitely interested in what type of scam they are running...

Absolute scammers you say no to insurance and they try to get all your personal information, even saying NO politely, you are not interested, and the only way to make them hang up to to blow your top

They are funeral insurance sellers and take a few seconds to anwer afer you answer the phone! telemarkers in the background!
