I had few phonecalls from this company called Client Advantage Group, When you say sorry I am not interested they tried to talk on top of your voice and when you continue to say sorry I am really not interested, then they will hang up on you ..so rude .. so I called back the number and asked if I can speak to the manager, I told the manager that I had enough of their telemarketers being so rude when I already that said I am not interested, they should say thats ok mam thank you for your time and have a nice day goodbye.. and the manager agreed with me and she said she will look into it, and I asked her to take my number off their listings.. anyway if this happened to you call back and asked to speak to the manager and asked to take your number off their listings .. Scumbags who illegally obtained my details. "Sean" with a heavy chinese accent trying to sell me insurance. Got nasty when I questioned him as to how he obtained my mobile number which is not listed anywhere. Hung up.

The irony of it. Telstra sells them our details but I get no Telstra signal near my home. I just get the missed call message hours later. If you marketing guys are reading this you need to get a refund from Telstra, they've missold the product to you . Quality

Thanks for the info. Have singled the call as scam. I don't answer any call unless it is recorded in my phone file. If it is a serious matter they will leave a message. Never do because they know few will ever call back.

I've started calling indian run businesses in Australia using the same lines they use on me.
Its funny that they want to know who you are & how you got their number.....
I advise them i am Ragesh,& am calling from a call centre in calcutta,where a relative provided me with their number.

just do not answer numbers 028... and so far (02) 8608 2424 and (02) 8104 1014 are on the block list. Also they ask for a particular person. Turn off the phone for a few days if it is not needed. Thanks for the previous posts, saves a lot of time not having to answer the time wasters.

yes, I received calls from this number recently. I told them who with indian accent " sorry, I am not interested in " then they hang up the call, so rude. my phone shows blacktown, NSW.

Their called appeared with a 'blacktown' text in my iPhone screen text (underneath the number).

Do not confirm your name or give any personal details. Just ask them how they got your details, (they said Australia Data services), ask for the company name, the rep's name and ID. This Is usually enough to put them off...

If not, complain to your telco, don't get this a**holes get away with it

I got a call from this number as well. This is a telemarketing call for selling some insurance product. I don't think they have our account data and online banking data and all of that. I have also received some other calls from Melbourne number in the past, they are all somewhat in the business of selling insurance policies apparently. I understand it's better to be safe, but no reason to panic. Just block the number thats it.

Answered the incoming call, no one answered, don't know anyone in 02 area, so stiff, they do not get a call back. Glad I looked the number up first.

I keep getting annoying calls from this number and other similar numbers - most of the time, when I answer it, the line just goes dead, and the same thing happens when I try to call back. I got another call from them just now, and it was a guy with an indian accent, something to do with "insurance", I just said I'm not interested, and for the love of God, please stop calling me!
