Yes, definitely a scam. They have called my parents house 3 or 4 times now insisting there was an accident in front of their house. hehehehe, its lamentable.

We should be able to bar calls from this number.

Just had this number call me. Indian guy from AQP services accident claims or something like that. Unsure As he was hard to understand. I put it plainly to him (as we have received so many of these scam calls in the past couple of weeks) that I was aware of this scam and for him to stop calling me. He argued with me and tried to convince me he was legit, I told him in no uncertain terms to go take his sh*t scam and shove it. Then I hung up on him. He knew my surname.

Asian based company with english supervisor - they are suggesting "You may have a neck injury and therefore can get money for that" looks like a scam against Compensation dept

Scammers. The usual losers trying to rip money out of the hangs of innocent people going about their daily lives.

Had this same call a number of times telling me I was in a motor vehicle accident within the last 3 years. Told him I hadn't been and to get lost. We had a message left on our answering machine about a tax fraud too.

My mum got called by this number today. The guy had a Asian accent and asked if she was in an accident. Seeing as she has no car they hung up. Tonight I got a call from the same number,this time a guy with an British accent. My husband got on the phone and played along,said yes he had been in an accident but it wasn't his fault and he didn't get hurt and everything was being looked after by the other driver's insurance company. The guy on the phone said 'that's good I will change our records to say everything is looked after for you and you don't need any help'. I guess they try to get personal details if people have been in an accident by saying they can help with any claims.

Female spoke , as soon as i heard the words car accident i hung up SCAM.

Told me I had been in a motor vehicle accident last year ~ I told him he was a F----ing little C---t as I have not had an accident in 20 years. Report to the ACCC as they are obviously phishing for your personal details.

Very much a nuisance. Asian accent calling about a car accident I never had. SCAM !!!

Just got a call from this number, young lady with heavy Irish accent but the call quality was quite bad so I couldn't hear her properly. Told her I didn't own a car, she immediately said "no problem" and hung up.

yeah same here, told her claim was settled and i wasnt entitled to anything, all of a sudden she didnt want to talk to me, before that had been persistant that she wanted to confirm my details.

This is spam. Do not answer this call. Not sure how they get surname, but they ask about car accident.

These guys come up with the novel idea about trying to track down insurance claims on your vehicle for you. They are rather irrational when you ask them questions about their company or how they get your number.

A call about being in a minor car accident, the guy had an English accent!

Got a call from (02) 8317 3159 but couldn't hear anything so i hung up. I called it back but got voicemail saying the person is unavailable. Probably spam.
