i used to be a debt collecyor. often these guys have dialers. they can represent a different number each time they call ypu. they do this so this app and others like it dont work. if you owe money to anyone and win a contest, promotion, receive a nayional geographic package and need to provide corrwct details to claim it odds are its a skip trace team. dont answer calls from people you dont know. assign a different number for when you are seeking work and only give it to prospective employers or friends. never put it on finance applications. odds are that if you owe money your veda/baycorp file has a red flag on it. this means whn you apply for credit again all your updated details get sent to the people looking for you. if you are intent on disappearing you need to lose your paper trail for upwards of 7 years.

im telling you this because banks bleed you dry and ive done many a thing in the grey area of legality to collect money owed to mh employers. mercantile agents also stole mail so getting a po box is great too..juat dont expose yourselves. if u are overdue on car payments always park on ypur property as then agents need ypur permission or a court order to enter the premise and seise the goods..court orders take upward of a month to generate and thats only if the lender is legally entitled to repossess. odds are if your lender is trying to convince you to volanteraly surrender a vehicle they cannot do it on their own because its illegal or they are afraid that theyll gwt i trouble by fos. always record yoyr calls and conduct communication with agents via email. collectors make use of the fact that calls arent always recorded to say and do illegal things. dont try to rip off the system guys . if u borrow and can pay then pay. if ypu ru into trouble and have a personal accou t vs a busimess account odds are you will be granted hardship. so ask for it. small business accoynts can also be eligible but its harder to prove they are so be prepared to have a lawyer examine the circumstances then. always aak for a part IX agreement before bankruptcy. you
may find its going to work better for you.

I have been called 4 times today by (02) 8015 6963 they are calling every 15 minutes or so - first called saying I had won a lottery! Yeah right! Ya gotta be in one to win one and considering I am not in any...... SPAM. I have an app called True caller on my phone - it helps identify spam and then gives me the choice to block and report the number - great little free app.

Missed a call from a 4th unknown number this week. Where do they get our numbers. If you call back it says they are calling regarding an online competition I entered... I don't enter competitions

I entered a competition from Finish (dishwasher products) and it said to click for more free entries, got halfway through and realised it was one of those sites where they then try to sign you up to heaps of different companies (you had to then go through pages of "survey questions" about things which would mean you were then on their contact lists also if you said you were interested in them). At that point i stopped completing the entry as I didn't wish to be bombarded by emails. I then received an email saying "Please validate your entry into the Winning Choice competition. All you have to do is to click the button below." I didn't click and today I received a phone call from this number, saying it was Winning Choice and I needed to complete the entry. I said I was busy and hung up, and then they tried to call again. I have since emailed the contact on the email (consumercare @ cohort.com.au) and asked them to delete my email and phone number from their list. Will see how that goes.

I had 5 calls from this number yesterday to my mobile, and now they have called me twice this morning on http://www.reverseaustralia.com/lookup/(03) 6122 0411/, from what I have read they are both from the same 'company'. I have also been getting repeated calls from an overseas private number on my home phone, often just after getting a call either of these numbers. Presume they have picked up my numbers from a survey site (of which I am a member of a few), as both my mobile and home phone numbers are on the DNCR

Phone call to my mobile saying I'd entered a competition and I had to complete a survey to claim my 'prize'. I don't give out my mobile number to just anyone, so it makes you wonder where they get their info from.

This is an illegal scam created by recoveries corporation (a leech that acts illegally and should be prosecuted by ASIC.

Be aware this scum company who purchased debts assigned from others for as little as 5% and illegally chase those who are struggling to make 5000% profit will call you for a week or so on private numbers and should you not prudently refuse to answer these harrassing private number calls at any time of the day (or night the putrid dogs have no respect for the laws in this Country), THINK - if they cant reveal their number to you when they have your details WHY answer their trojon horse style ambush), then they will start calling you saying they are "winning choice" and you have the opportunity to win $250,000.00. to obtain your details to then hound you further.

PS - refuse to allow them to record the call without your consent it is illegal to record you - tell them they are the biggest leech on those planet taking exorbonent sums from those that least can afford it.

Tell them the competition is will they avoid $250,000.00 fine and pecurinary penalties in the Federal Court for illegal unlawful procedures.

Tell them to f*ck OFF and stop stealing from the poor

Missed a call from this (02) 8015 6963 number. No voicemail left. Have been harassed by multiple unknown (02) numbers in the last month. Considering I'm Victorian (02) numbers legitimately calling me is a rare occurrence.
