Received automated call from this number claiming they were from some Online Department Division Two and if I didnt call back then they have to issue a warrant for my arrest lmao are they seriously that stupid ? Either way reported the number to ACCC and Telstra as a scam and blocked the number on phone

Just rec'd automated voice call same as previous comments - stating suit being filed from ATO etc.
Knew it was nonsense scammers.
Googled the number and came across this.
Can the teleco's not track this number and block it, find the people??
Just sad and hope some people don't get sucked into it.

I received a call today 22/11/2018 saying they were from the ATO department and that I had a legal proceeding against and that because they have been unable to contact me that I need to call back on (02) 8006 8675 immediately. After a long winded conversation were I couldn't get any information about what I had allegedly done they wanted me to transfer $1500 plus associated costs to a total of $2200. As soon as I said I was going to contact the local police station to check if there was actually an arrest warrant out on me (which is what they had said through the conversation) they hung up. SCAM!!!!

Called claiming a law suite against me. Tried calling it back...it dropped out. Glad I checked here and can see lots of people have had the same issue.

Just received a call on my mobile from this number (02) 8006 8675 with an automated American voicemail claiming that I have committed fraud and if I dont call back I will be arrested.
You can block this number on your mobile phone so they don't contact you again. Beware of this scam.

I got the same call today, saying there is a warrant to arrest me.
I rang a the ATO, they did not contact me.

Reported this with them as a scam.

Just received a call on my mobile from (02) 8006 7502 - a recorded message, american accent, claiming to be from the ATO fraud squad - I hung up after once they had finished saying Fraud squad. Tried to call back from a landline but was disconnected each time. Clearly bogus, so be aware.

Claims to be ATO. As with all other comments - pre-recorded message about tax fraud. Obvious scam...

Had a call from this number and the usual message of being sued by the ATO. Knew it was a spam and returned their call to tell them that in order for me to pay the sued amount they need pay me $1,500 first as processing fees however no one is picking up :( will keep trying as I could really use that $1,500 for a nice xmas pressie

I got exactly that message this morning ATO lawsuit against me. I called them back and she hung up on me after 10 seconds when I asked for information.

Scammers calling from this number with an American automated message. The ATO NEVER call, they will always write a letter. Blocked the number from my phone.

American voice electronic recorded message advising that ATO is investigating me and my family for tax fraud and a lawsuit has been filed. Claims that they've tried to contact me a number of times, but to no avail. Believe it is a hoax or fraudulent activity

Same call mentioned as above. Didn't bother picking it up and the caller left the same message. Rubbish...

Definitely a scam, the ATO write to you, they do not call. Tried to ring them back, just to have some fun but they won't pick up a private number call.

fake Tax fraud in robot voice. ignore this rubbish

Call came through from a private number (blocked). Went straight through to message bank and the message left was same as others. American accent which was the biggest tip off that this was a fake call.
