Just received this call, already knew it was a scam, they also called my 18yo daughter who doesn't work as she's a student

Same as above - Benjamin Franklin about tax fraud from ATO. Definitely a scam. I just hung up and blocked the number.

I just had a call from James Anderson re warrant out for my arrest and tax fraud, he was horrible and told me to listen and don't interrupt, especially when I was asking questions, he gave me an address 2 Constitution Ave, Canberra, I looked up the number while I was talking to him and saw it was a scam and told him so and said I was going to report him and hung up, I was shaking, this is horrible.

Here we go again. I just received a call from them didn't answer the call but they left the same message as above.

Called my daughter left a message "there has been a complaint please call the ATO on (02) 6064 2058) and hangs up.

I called them this morning asked who this was they said it was the ATO, I then asked what is your name and they said "none of your damn business" and hung up on me (Scammers). I reported them to the police but the police said better to go through crime stoppers. So that's what I am going to do. (I suggest everyone does this)

I also received the same call from this number, and it scared me so much. Thank god for a website like this to help us ignoring the call and making sure that it is nothing serious.

And there at it again. Scam artists for sure. Never trust anybody calling saying they are from the ATO. Always hang up and call the ATO number to verify if this is a true claim and warn anybody you know. The more people that know about it the less likely these people will get away with it.

Got a call from (02) 6064 2058 this morning while I was driving to office, so didn't take the call. There was a voice message saying ATO will be issuing a legal notice against me for not paying taxes from 2012. I should have checked this website before calling them but called them in panic. This guy with a strange accent said there is an option for me to settle the amount outside court which made me think this must be a hoax. I said I will deal with ATO directly and hung up the phone. Later googled this number and came to know about this website. I was so angry and called the number again and literally blasted them left, right and centre.

Answered the call on my mobile to get a voice message from a Benjamin with an Indian accent saying this was an important message regarding a tax fraud and to call back immediately.

My wife have just received a call from "Benjamin Franklin" who has a strong Indian accent. He told my wife that she has been avoiding tax. LOL... but you just have to love that accent.

I received a message today, about the same thing as the above comments. Called them back without thinking no answer, will advise my Accountant so as to report to ATO.

Just had a call from this number saying I'm being investigated for tax fraud......Find it really funny considering I have just done my taxes for the year....These guys are idiots....

Well they are still trying it i had a phone call this morning too claiming they are ATO and claiming that i need a criminal lawyer so i called them back and informed them that i had told the police and not to call again

I received a call from (02) 6064 2058 His name was Benjamin Franklin and waffled for 2 minutes telling me that I have am in trouble with the ATO. Scammers, big time. So I hung up on him while he was still talking.

I received a phone call on my work mobile and it was an automated message stating that I have a warrant out for my arrest because of Tax evasion and I was to contact this number immediately otherwise I would be arrested it was a male voice very strong indian accent

called me today and it was BENJAMIN FRANKLIN from the ATO - REALLY????

Had the same call today, left message on my regarding tax evasion.
Have reported to scam watch, do not give these theives any information about who you are.

Second time they've tried with me.
