My 10 year old son’s phone keeps receiving messages from this number that he must contact them immediately due to overdue accounts...if he doesn’t contact them now he will have bad credit for life...hmmm .....No way

Have had a couple of text messages claiming to be from Baycorp, requesting I call back one of two numbers (so far!) 1300 361 478 or 1300 133 825 and quote a ref #.
Texts coming from mobile 0419 788 700.

I receive text messages from Baycorp weekly regarding a mans name that I've never heard of. It says it's urgent and states a quote reference number. It is a complete scam! Don't call them back on any number! They ask you to confirm your details the wankas. I've reported it to scamwatch.gov.au.

Got numerous messages continuing from last year on my mobile phone saying that there is an urgent matter requiring attention and I needed to call them on 1300 361 478 quoting a reference number to discuss. Lucky I read on the internet and I didn't call.

My husband and I keep getting these calls and SMS'. We do not have a debt with this company they claim we have a debt with. I rang the company and they said we do not have a debt with then and have not handed anything to Baycorp for collection. Be careful. They also quite a different reference number every time they contact us. Be very careful. To the person who said talk to them doesn't work, they said the only way they will stop r in being is to pay the debt. A debt we don't owe. Pricks.

Getting Texts & Calls Once a Month Claiming their Baycorp. Looking For Some One that Doesn't Own The Phone Number.Had Enough of This Bullsh*t.

Baycorp is NOT a scam. Baycorp is a debt collection company, the headquarters are here in Australia. Many people who owe debts go into hiding, and are difficult to find. Baycorp needs to find these people. So for example if you have the same name and similar age of the person who owes the debt, then you may receive a SMS / Email or call from Baycorp. When Baycorp calls, all you need to do is explain that your not the person that they are trying to find. Otherwise you will keep receiving calls etc, until the actual person who owes the debt addresses their debt - which may not ever happen. Its also worth mentioning that you might actually have a debt, and you simply don't know about it. So a two minute telephone conversation will save a lot of hassle. Its your choice.

Got the same bullsh*t text! Called with another number.. they pretend the details they have is incorrect so you have to confirm your personal details. Once yelled at they say goodbye!

These guys are scammers don't call, they've told me they're from bankcorp AND Telstra. It's not real.

Constantly getting SMS from Baycorp. If Monies are Owed, Where is the Tax Invoice first.?

I have received four messages from a mobile number 0419 788 700 with the "Important message" regarding an AGL debt. I don't have an AGL debt. I rang the number and got silence first, then a woman said "Hello?" No identifying information. Asked me for my name address DOB and reference number etc. I said I wanted that from her. She said she was Debby from Baycorp and that her screen hadn't come up - so obviously a scam. Told her I would hang up and check with Baycorp. Same as everyone else, nothing matches up. Scam.

I just received this message on my tablet, on a brand new data SIM just issued by Telstra. There is only one way they could have got the number...Telstra security fail!!

Got a text from so called Baycorp stating i have telstra account overdue from 7 yrs.. different call back number to Baycorp website.. guess what never been with Telstra..called them total scam..

There scammers sent me text message today via mobile number 0419 788 700. They want you to ring 1300 361 478. They will ask for a refernace number that was provided in text. Don't ring 1300 number. Once you ring and give them reference number they know the number that's called them back even if you blocked your number. then they will fish for your personal info. Scam Scam Scam

Just received a text on a new phone number saying "Important message from Baycorp. Please contact our office regarding a matter that has been assigned to our office." They they give their number.

I just bought a new phone number. This has nothing to do with me.

Baycorp scam. Phone number is different to website and goes to Philippines. The word they use there for it is bola bola (bullish-t)
