This number belongs to a debt collection agency called Baycorp
Their undelivered mail address is : Locked Bag 5077 Parramatta NSW 2124

Check out the last part of this number using the letters instead of numbers on your mobile phone. It spells out something quite obscene commencing with the letter F if you use the right combination of letters for each number.

I have moved to a new home, and don't even know the landline number myself, yet somehow they managed to leave a message for me to call back with a ref number! Next time they will get a continuous whistle in the ear!! Have it by the phone, ready and waiting.....

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF UR DETAILS!!! they rang me over a month ago.. and asked for my to give them my details.. I told them I dont feel comfortable giving out my info to a company I've never heard of.. so he gave me the year of birth and town and if it was correct I was to give the rest of my info.. NONE OF IT WAS RIGHT!!! Luckily I didn't give them anything cos they have the wrong person.. I believe it's a huge scam to get ur info! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS TRAP! I've blocked there number but they still try and ring everyday and they still send messages to call them about my account!! A ACCOUNT I DO NOT HAVE WITH THEM!! good luck people!

Keep calling our work number asking for a person who doesn't work here. They claim the call is urgent and that they don't have another contact number.

received a message but asking for Lorna Fitzgerald (the wrong name) to confirm details.. looked it up and here we are now 8 complaints deep.

This number left a message looking for my father in law who had just passed away. They would not give me any information to why they needed to speak to him so I gave them what for and told them not too ring again as we had a funeral to arrange.

I have had this number phone me ever second day for the last month and a half.
I have answered previously and the ask many questions about name, identity, address etc. As they are wanting to 'confirm' my details I asked them halfway to provide the information and I would confirm or deny and they could not do so. I then said my address and details extremely quickly (enough for them to read, but not write) and they asked me to repeat is slowly, to spell it out so they obviously do not have my information.

It is almost definitely a scam, but they are persistent and as its a private number it is extremely frustrating to be unable to report them or block it.

I have had dozens of messages left on my answering machine with this 1300 number (and no calling line ID) and a reference number but no info on who or why they are calling. The return phone number is not associated with any company in any online source so does not lend any credibility to them. The caller accent is obviously from Philippines.

Calls appeared to me as an attempt to steal identification through some sort of telephone phishing scam. I eventually returned the call to find out the source and to stop the calls. Turned out to be a collection agency (Baycorp) attempting to find someone with the same last name as me.

Their continual questions about my identity when I called was very suspicious and inappropriate in this age of identity theft. I had to get quite angry with them before they would reveal the true purpose of their call and agree to remove me from their investigation.

Might be the debt collection agency employed by the ATO to collect debt on their behalf. Or maybe not. Probably not. It could be i've won the Powerball. But i doubt that. Didn't get to speak to the guy as i screened him out, private numbers can go to hell, although he was kind enough to leave a message. He gave me what sounded like a Grid Reference Number to quote when i decide to call back but i may consult my GPS for verification purposes before i do so. Or probably not.

I had 2 messages from this number and suspiciously phoned it back. The unidentified man just fished for identifying information.
This did not seem legit in any way.
Hung up on the man. Very sus!
