Caller: my friend Justin

It was a scam. forgot the details. I gave him some sh*t.

Robot voice said they were from amazon and would deduct $79 from my account to keep using amazon service in 2021, unless I pressed 1 and spoke to...... hung up and blocked no.

Caller: Guy with Asian, maybe Indian accent

Caller claimed to be from Optus, told me that my internet had been hacked and that he needed to run tests on my modem and I would be refunded $250 if the modem was faulty. I recognized the area code of his number as WA or SA and asked what state he was calling from and he replied that he was calling from "Optus offshore customer service". He knew my name, address, date of birth and details of my Optus plan but I smelled a rat and terminated the call.

Caller: Indian sounding voice.

Reckon they are from the Bendigo Bank, just Indian Scammers

Just got a call saying they were from Paypal - Indian accent. Says someone trying to log into my paypal and asking for my email address. Know they try get your paypal login then try and add your bank card details to try and draw all yr money from the account. Don't give any email addresses or bank details

Call diverted to my 'Junk caller' number which records numbers - hung up after 2 rings

Caller: “Mike”

Answered the phone, was silent for 10 seconds or so then claimed he said “Hi this is Mike from” and then hung up. Scam

claimed to be calling to notify me of some expenditure on my amazon account(which I don't have) - hung up

Next level scam. Actually indulged them a little to find out what they were going on about because originally they bait you in with reasonable and plausible statements. I truly hope no one falls for this scum.

Said my internet with Telstra was to be cut , then rambled on about what he can do to help. Trying to get me to give remote access to my computer. Told him waht I thought of these bogus calls, then hung up.

Caller: Indian accent

“Calling you from the Visa Mastercard department”

Answered this number said it was bad line. rang back from a private number saying my name and that he was from Faceboojk

Caller: Said they were from Amazon

Very hard to understand I hung up but a few hours earlier had a call said they were from Telsra, I suspected this is all a scam.

Didn’t answer .... read other reports and blocked number

You would think these spammers / would be scammers would have stolen another number by now. Losers!

Just received a call at 11.55am 19/11/20. I did not recognize the number so picked up but didn’t say anything. They then hung up.
