That's interesting. So the call was actually coming in at United Kingdom +44 7919 285499. But then when I didn't answer, says you missed a call from (08) 7129 6000. Proves they must re-route through an Australian number.

Caller: scam call Just got a call on this number. My business clients are interstate so i answered - it was the amazon scam, I asked what is your contact number and they hung up. If you call this number back it apparently doesn't exist.
Why do our phone companies allow this? Makes me wonder if they are in on these scams..

They called on 1 March. I didn't answer but they left no message. Got a call from same number on 9 Dec last year and they did leave a message - and it was the "Telstra Scam"

Caller: Indian claiming to be from some mortgage research Don't waste your time.
I asked where they got my number from and they said a "database". and so I said, so where did this database come from, and they said "a survey I filled out". and so I said but which survey because I don't share my number. They just continued to talk, ignoring my questions. Obviously don't care who they call. Just block the number

Had a call earlier today from this number, trying to say they were from Amazon Prime and that the monthly fee was increasing to $78. Asked to speak to their manager, and they hung up.
