missed call, no message left

Missed the call and no message on the answering machine. After reading all the experiences with them here, I am very glad that I didn't answer my phone!!!

Caller: Automated Voice Message

Robo lady talking about money being taken out from an account for Amazon Prime, a scam this low effort and horrendously wasteful, my phone turned itself off.

Caller: Scammer

Followed an obvious script. Said that people were "using my internet without my permission or knowledge"
Hung up pretty quickly when I said I have lots of computers and even one dedicated to hacking.

Caller: Jerry! From NBN

Gave me a story about NBN speed, technician in the area wants to replace modem (2 weeks old) gave me an 1800 number and his employee number. When I said it's a scam and don't call me again he was surprisingly polite and said okay!

Keeps calling. Left no message.

Scammer claiming to be from NBN - Asked him a few questions about how he got my number etc and the Indian sounding guy hung up...

My experience was the same as some others have had. No response from the caller when 'phone was answered. Just another nut job?.

I had a couple of missed calls to my mobile phone. When checking on the caller, without displaying my number, I got the message "The number you are calling is incomplete or not connected. Please check the number and try again"; a different female voice said "Optus advises that number you have dialled has been disconnected". 9-Jan-21

Caller: Amazon

Called saying I had an Amazon account and I mistakedly clicked on a pop-up add and now they are taking $39.99 to upgrade to prime. I've never purchased from Amazon. She was rude. I stood my ground she refuses to put manager on, I threatened her with media then she called me a B!tch

Caller: From telephone company????

Definately scam caller. wanted credit card number to confirm their "information" so I could continue paying bills by card. They give options so you can correct them. Don't trust anyone who says they are doing you a favour and only want to help you.
Difficult to understand poor english.

Man claiming to be from NBN co, I have been getting scam calls like this all week.

I hung up on this one as soon as he said he was from NBN co but the other calls have been a man trying to get me to allow remote access to my computer.

Caller: Scam I assume

tried to call the number but got the message... this number is incorrect or incomplete.

Caller: I don't know

No message left. I guess it's another spoofed number.

This number called today. Not interested in conversation so hung up. Caller rang back and called me a fuc.. Ing arsehole and d*ckhead then hung up.

MY PHN HAS CALLER ID & BLOCKS SPAM CALLS. I DIDNT HEAR MY PHN RINGING. SMS MESSAGE DAID THAT I MISSED A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER. I'M IN SYDNEY , I HAVE NO1 TO CALL ME ON LANDLINE FRM PERTH/ADELAIDE :-)))

Just rings and hangs up. I wonder if my phone will run out of memory due to all the blocked numbers i have now. When are the Telcos going to start being responsible.

Claims to be Amazon saying that I need to cancel my Amazon Prime subscription today or I would be getting charged $299. Very rude and aggressive Indian caller in a call centre. Could not give me the details on "my" account except for my phone number - got my city wrong and couldn't tell me my full name. Tried to tell me that to cancel my account they would need to access my computer to see the cancellation. SCAM ALERT!
