Caller: Some Indian guy 🚨Scam alert 🚨 Got a call “No caller id” on Monday 16 November 2020 at 12:30pm with the Robo call Telstra scam that’s going around.
And a call from Adelaide claiming to be from Microsoft about my computer... REPORTED to ACCC and Scamwatch, apparently they forgot to hide their phone number.
I let the caller speak first after a short pause ( I receive a lot of Robo calls), a lot of static on the phone when I answered. The caller asked for me by name & said he was from Microsoft & had an Indian accent. He started talking about “my computer...”, and I cut him off by saying I don’t have a computer mate but good try! & hung up. The call came in at 6:38pm today 20 November 2020.

Caller: "Virgin Voicemail" (fake caller id) Phone reported the caller ID as "Virgin Voicemail"... strangely I do not have any phones under contract with Virgin, so NFI why the "Virgin Voicemail" is trying to call me... definitely a scammer using a fake caller id title... Never got a chance to answer as it only rang once and then my phone blocked the number automagically

Called twice 5 December 2020, each time claiming to be from NAB and looking into $800 apparently transferred from my account to a "James Smith from America". No identity verification but claimed to have been transferred direct from my local branch. When I asked them what branch this was, they hung up. In subsequent call, they offered to walk me through a process online, through which I could put a stop to the purported fraud. I hung up this time.

Supposedly a call from Virgin Voicemail. Dunno why I would get a call from a voicemail service, meant for me to ring it.
This is definitely a scam call.

Caller: Tech from CC Cleaner He wanted me to renew CC Cleaner for $399. I told him that not even Avast charges that much. He told me that they would process a card transaction as a Cancellation Fee. I told him that was Extortion and asked what was their ABN and Name of Company 74008612278 was the ABN that I was given and on searching ASIC was False Number. Australian Computer Solutions at Erina was the name given. Australian Computer Solutions have a Button number 5 on their Telephone system selections about Scams.
