Yes they didn't say anything but hung up. I was too slow to get my whistle out and give a blast. I agree they should talk but probably phone 6 no's at once and answer the first one.

No genuine charity keeps ringing around, like those Indian cockstand computer virus scamming bastards who think Australians are ignorant of their scams. This (07) 5657 0893 number is more than likely from scammers, who probably should ring Islamic State !! Give them a number to the nearest sex club !

Persistent nuisance calling from this number. No idea if they are legit or not, but think a legit charity would have moved on.

Yes, I get sick and tired of this number, and the harassment. So, it appears that the NCR is sham and gives them the right to be a nuisance.

At least their number is real and you can ignore it. I don't answer unknown Qld numbers nor do I open unsolicited mail from a Qld address. Qld Gold Coast is Australia's answer to Nigeria's fame for scams and rorts. In the case of telemarketers, they are not scammers but are simply nuisances who use your phone to hassle you while not knowing your financial predicament or personal situation. I know a mentally handicapped lady who often gets sucked in by these and similar people. And apparently it isn't illegal. I wish it was.

just call ur service provider, like telstra and have them block the numbers if they calling.

Arthritis Foundation one day, someone else the next day, wonder how much of the money actually gets to these charities.

Sick of this scum calling me every few days. The DNC legislation now needs to be amended to prevent these alleged charity calls as well as marketing. It has got so bad now that I give to very few charities at all these days. If a charity employs such scummy tactics then they are no friend of you or the community they are purporting to serve. Most of the money raised goes in administration and call centre costs anyway.
Under no circumstances give them your credit card number.

They keep calling even after I've asked to be removed from their lists. Most of the time they don't talk when I answer. Just ask for a postal address for your solicitors and then tell them you'll come visiting next week.

This number called me earlier in the day .. I put caked it up said "hello" 3 times and got no reply so hung up.
They just rang again... same deal.. But this time I said "oh F off " and someone on the other end said " whaaaat"

I've had a few calls from them. Answered it today and lady said she was from Apple Marketing, calling on behalf of the Heart Foundation. Charities are exempt from the DNC register. They will remove your name if you ask them to though, which I did.

There's a number similar to this number (075657089 4) that also claims that it is a charity. I've been getting calls from both and it's bloody annoying. Don't trust them, they are DEFINITELY NOT CHARITY

Got a call from them today in WA; did not answer as it was an 07 (Qld) number and we've had a few telemarketing calls from there recently, so let it go to the machine. Left no message.
