Received a call from them this morning, but they hang up before I could get to the phone. Their number came up after using *10#. Maybe when answering, we could say nothing, but leave our phone off the hook for about half an hour. This way, they can't disconnect until our phone is hung up. It may be a way of discouraging them from phoning any further STD calls at least.

Received a call from this number today. A pleasant woman looking for Mr Kxxxx from My Road, My Suburb. I told her there was no one here by that name and she asked if she had the wrong number. I told her that's a reasonable conclusion so she thanked me and hung up.

I called back and asked Tracy to remove my number from their phone list. The computer recording name the company as Apple Charity something. Strange as Apple Computers does not have this phone number! Tracy was very pleasant and my number has been removed - hopefully.

Called this number back. Yes, they know about the Do Not Call register, but claim that the organisation they represent is exempt, i.e. a charity, political organisation, etc., etc.
They do, however, have a web site where you can register on their own Do Not Call register.

www.applemarketing.com.au

I would, however, caution you that you will be registering a phone number/s, so the less they know about you by way of completing their form the better. After all, you are advising them what phone number/s NOT to call. Your name should not matter.

I can confirm the info in other messages above. I used to receive frequent annoying calls from this number, but they would never leave a message. Yesterday I dialled the number (from a blocked number) and heard a voice message from "The Charity Fundraiser". The number is now on my Blocker Callers List.

Most modern land-line phones have a Call Block function built into them. If you've got an older phone, I don't think it's possible to block the call.
I would recommend that you check the phone's instruction manual to see if you have the 'call-block' function and if you do, follow the manuals instructions of how to block annoying numbers.

I just received the call from this number again today but this time they were coy and asked for a Mrs. Emily Smith... there is no one with that name at my address and there never has been so be vigilante. Especially if they have dialed your number in the past and you've asked to be removed from their list.

Received a call to our home landline, usually I would be at work but answered it. They asked for me (used my first name only) but I didn't confirm if that was correct. I asked who they were and he said 'Andy'. I said 'Andy who?'. He said 'it's Andy'. I said 'who are you calling from?' at which point he got annoyed and said 'I don't know if I'm speaking to the right person so I'll get someone to call back later'... such a nuisance. Also on the DNC register.

Persistant annoyance from this number. Have called several times in the last week repeatedly. Am also on DNC but they claim to be a charity yet when you ask to be taken off the list, they continue to call. Won't take NO for an answer so recommend that everybody put this number on "call-block" or "Ignore".

I picked up the home phone when they called I said "hello, ______ speaking" there was a funny whoosh sound and then there was sounds of a call centre and a australian man said "Hello, How are you today?" and for some reason I said "hello, ______ speaking" again. There was silence on the other end. So I hung up.
