Caller: Charity Marketing Specialists for Apple Marketing Group

I saw the number (07) 5657 0893 displayed on my home phone and did not pick up. Caller did not leave an message. ( this is the 2nd day in a row they have called)
Intrigued I called the number from my silent home number to be greeted with a recorded message stating they are Charity Marketing Specialists for Apple Marketing Group. Hours of business is M-F, 9am to 5pm. Well that made me laugh as the call I received was at around 6.30pm.

Called 4 days in a row. No message left, so have blocked them.

Phone picked up this is a scam

Keep getting missed pause from them. They are now blocked.

Fishy caller. Number blocked. Now we can all get some sleep..........

Day 2 of phonecalls and hangups. I am also on the DNC register. So frustrating!

Here's the 89th complaint about this number. Already blocked it but they still try. Other people on this site say charity fund raisers. But the caller might not even be that, could be anyone !

Caller: Rogue charity agency

Received 6 missed calls from this number this week and it's only Wednesday. Reading other's comments, it's clear that this charity agency is out of control!

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voice message, so I checked here and see lots of complaints about this number. Blocked the number. Obvious timewasters and perhaps scammers. Remember anyone phoning you and saying they're from a charity might not be at all!

Huh? What phones? No really I want to know.

I do the same thing, if they don't say who they are I don't pick up. So much easier, my phone is on short ring and my message is just say your name, they usually hang up quickly

This number just called my home again. It has tried to ring me many times but as I do not know anyone in the area of 07 that doesn't know me I have never answered the call. . I think I will invest in this $48 telstra phone
