Caller: Scammers I suspect

Dodgy voice mail from “Ebay” saying I have a parcel and will have $299 coming out of my account. - Never use Ebay. Hung up on it.

And they rang my work number; if I did purchase anything I would have used my personal number anyway.

Same as above, automated message if you have not purchased a $299 gift card on EBay press 1 then an Indian accent woman tried to scam me when I said this sounds like a scam she hung up. Shameful behaviour, surely eBay or police can investigate these people!

Recorded message saying I owed them money. Return number not connected - checked on here and apparently a scam

Same as the rest - I hung up without pressing any buttons. Australian accent on the recorded message saying i was making a purchase for $299 and it could be a hoax. Told me to ring (07) 5641 4098 if i did not follow their message.

I received a call from this number stating they were eBay. That I had $299 in fees that were going to be debited from my account. It is an automated call with options..

Total scam, do not give any personal information.

recorded announcement said press 9 to end the call so I did but it just went through to the accented man.

As described above. My husband talked to woman with Indian accent for a while and she wanted to put him through to eBay fraud department to cancel the $299 payment from our account. He hung up on her and the same number rang back 8 times in the next 2 minutes until I blocked the call and it finally started working.
