Caller said he was from NBN wanting to upgrade my service then tried to get me to give him access to my computer so I ended call immediatly.Highly suspicious !!

Called to tell me my NBN Internet connection having issues and wanted to 'help me fix it'. Call center based in India or somewhere. Could have at least confirmed if I had NBN internet or not (I don't) Hung up on them.

I do not recognise this number so I let it ring out. The caller did not leave a message. The app that I use to screen my calls showed this number as Fraud. I have blocked this number.

Claimed to be telstra and asked to talk to me about my internet account.

Called and saying they are telstra and help me to fix my Internet, but I am using TPG at the moment, suspicious.

I suspected this unknown number was from a scammer and didn’t answer the call. The complaints posted here confirm it was. I’ve now blocked this number.

Tried to explain to me that if I didn't upgrade my modem immediately, in three days time, my internet would be cut. When I explained that I had satellite internet that had no cable or modem involved, provided by a US-based company (all not true!), he went silent for a moment and provided my with the age old customer service sign off - "F*** off, you bitch". I think it might have been a fraudulent call ;-)

Numerous scam calls have been registered against this number. John called to tell me my VPN Internet connection was having issues and wanted to 'help me fix it' but kept bumbling the scam message so he hung up before I could. (07) 3709 8107 is a Brisbane number but it and a missed call from (07) 3709 8108 smacks of being from an Indian Call center. Ignore, block, delete and report both (07) 3709 8107 and (07) 3709 8107 as unsafe numbers.

Guy said he was from Telstra calling about a problem with the internet. I asked him if he could very my address he was calling about (which he couldn't) and I said I wasn't going to continue the conversation any further unless he could prove to me he was legitimate (which I knew he wasn't, tried to hang him out as long as I could), and said if he couldn't I would hang up the call. He said if I hung up, the internet would be blocked and I wouldn't have any internet, to which I replied that I don't even have a Telstra account and I'd like to see you try. Started giving me full attitude saying enjoy having no internet etc.

Called about Telstra internet. When I advised I had no internet account I was asked if I had a brain and they hung up. Very rude. Indian accent
