Came up as scam on my phone didn't answer

This call showed as coming from Brisbane Queensland. When I answered the call there was the sound of someone breathing, with a dog barking in the background, then the caller hung up. When I called the number back I heard a recorded message telling me that the number was not connected. Almost certainly a scammer setting something up.

Also hung up on answering

Caller: Telstra man with an Indian accent

Brisbane Man (foreign) from Telstra said my (Victorian) internet was slow and he would repair it. I said "thank you I'll leave you to it" & hung up.

Caller: They say it’s Telstra

Woman said she was calling as our Telstra ISP has gone public. I advised not with Telstra and she attempted to explain. Definitely scam trying to get access to computer. Beware do not give any details.

Guy said he was from Telstra internet security and my internet had suspicious activity. I asked how he knew as I wasn't with Telstra. He said that my internet provider hired the lines from Telstra and used Telstra's internet security. So I asked for him to confirm my internet provider. He said he'd check my profile and then hung up!

These types of calls of which there are many, begin with silence, then a click or beep then the a very quiet voice says a tentative hello. Then follows the spiel of the day whether it be internet related or worse.

Caller: I couldn't get his name

I asked this bloke his name and recieved a 10 second tirade full of f**k c**t among others. I hung up & blocked the number immediatly.

Hung up when answered

Caller: Spam call

100% spam hung on answering must be one of those call centres where they get paid to make a quoted amount of calls per day damn frustrating as I run a business and these people waste my time to answer the phone

Caller: Claimed they were Telstra

Said my ISP was public when it should have been private.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Female said they were from Telstra. Told them I am not with Telstra & to F*** off more than twice. Then they said "I am not with Telstra" & hung up!

They hung up before I could answer

Caller mumbled something about Telstra. When queried re Telstra, he hung up.
