Claimed they were from telstra saying my internet speed was too low
I told them not slow 100mps they had no idea what that ment. Told them they werent from telstra and to stop trying to scam people. They hung up. Blocked

Caller: Scammer pretending to be from Telstra

The caller is a male with an accent saying he’s from Telstra and that my IP has changed from private to public. I said I’m not even with Telstra and he said Telstra provides the internet behind all other providers. I’m with TPG’s FTTB which is not associated with Telstra at all. He couldn’t say anything about my name, account number, IP.

I was told she was from Telstra. They had been observing my internet speed for the last few days and it was not as fast as it should be. She said they were going to change my connection& asked was that ok, I answered no because she was not from Telstra, and this info was a lie, she said is was true and I hung up.
Check the number on Google and see how many complaints, it has to be a scam.

I answered and there was silence. I said hello several times. I briefly heard some background noise before getting the hang-up tone.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Caller: Peter from Telstra

Claimed that my internet speed was slow and that he would help me speed it up. On saying that i wasnt with telstra he said that didnt matter, SCAM

Caller: nbn (allegedly)

Indian man from nbn calling my Melbourne number from Brisbane. Said I was eligible for a $ refund for slow data speed and wanted me to perform a speed test. I told him to perform the test at his end and then take care of all the details for me as I'm not a technical person. It became obvious he didn't even know my name or address and hung up after getting no further information from me.

answered and no-one spoke. Scam

Answered.Short silence.I said nothing.They hung up.Most likely assessing for possible later call back.Or passing on the fact that I answered for whatever reason?Sounds like they are scum from other posts.

Caller: Claimed to be Telstra

Called to advise my home internet IP address had been changed from private to public and she would guide me through how to change it back. I advised I was not at home and asked for a number to call her back on, she provided 132200 which is the real Telstra customer care number. My home internet is not with Telstra.

Caller: Some idiot

This caller did not leave a message. Now blocked. Good to see others take the time to report it. Why would you phone back ?

Called me twice from this number but never leave a message. I've blocked and deleted.
