after doing a few insurance quotes, one of them being from Budget Direct, my phone started ringing. I didn't answer it as my phone picked it up as suspected spam. If you want cheap car insurance i suggest you try QBE

This number rang a few times, when answered, they just hang up.
Have now blocked it on my mobile.

I imagine budget as I literally just did an online quote. Guess I won’t use budget!

No one there when I answered. Assume Budget Direct after online quote not pursued. Now on blacklist

Daughter made a motor policy claim and paid all owing monies, five months later, budget won’t insure daughter on this policy.🤦🏽‍♂️Took my business to other insurers, yeh baby !!!

reading the comments... I did an online quote yesterday with Budget and have now had 4 missed calls from this number...

Can second this - i just did a number of online insurance quotes about 30 mins ago. I don't answer numbers i don't know any more, sure enough, come on here and see these comments.

Maybe you didn't probe them enough

Budget Insurance are pests. Was going to buy insurance from them though after their pest calls decided otherwise.

Caller hung up as soon as I answered. This happened only a matter of seconds after I'd used ING Insurance's website to request a callback. Presumably this is an insurer's dodgy method of shortlisting which telephone numbers are genuine, but needless to say it's a very rude and annoying method.

You didn't realise most companies auto renew? That's normal practice, you are the that cancels it, read your email, it probably states that.

Left a message saying “what a pain in the f*cking ass”

Did an online quotation with Budget Direct, left my personal contact mobile number 1(for all online shopping, quotes use only) , but they called me on my daily mobile number 2, it seems they have got every bit details of mine which seems really scared!

Did some online quotes for insurance a couple of days ago - including Budget Direct. Now they call constantly - even though they’ve been blocked.

Image how much cheaper their premiums could be if they didn’t have to pay people to make pointless calls!!

I don't know this number, that's why I refused to answer because so many scams are going around.
