Just got insurance quote with ING and then 15 minutes later getting these calls.Have blocked number

I accidentally missed a payment on my insurance, they were calling to sort it out. Nothing sinister.

It’s their customer support team , my insurance direct debit bounced they were calling to inform risk of insurance cancellation.

Did an online and then needed some questions answered and used a different phone to the one I inputted as a contact. Obviously tried to call me while I was on the phone with them anyway!

So my guess is that this number just steals your info from your cover provider? Some Indian dude tried to sell me healthcare or something and got really rude when I politely said I wasn’t interested.

I too just did an online Budget Direct as part of their competition. The caller just hangs up after calling twice within 30 minutes. I'm a customer of Budget Direct. I will complain to them in the morning! Now I've blocked this number. The call centre must get paid if the number picks up. What a useless waste of time.

Got an online quote for car insurance.

Their web site insists on getting your phone number before showing the quote but won't be going with them as can get a slightly lower premium and better agreed value on my car with Huddle.
