Actually, it's a debt collection agency, collecting within the legal laws of Australia.

They rang me, and 5 mins after talking to *hidden*, I had a payment plan that was affordable.

Instead of trying to AVOID paying your debts why not just face up to them and PAY them back.

Who is scabbier? A debt collector doing their job? Or the people on here, advocating hiding, changing numbers.

Sadly... its not operating within the law. They are not a member of the Credit Ombudsman or ACDBA. This is highly illegal and i am sure the Ombudsman will create a lawsuit. I can get my debt wipe by providing a letter that will force the debt collector to stop contacting me unless they take it to court. Until such time no phone call. If they breach the order i will automatically have a case for harassment. Also they claim i owe $651 to cashies. I never took out a loan for that amount nor was i working or had any need to take out a loan till 2013. This is highly suspicious. When questioned by email they are refusing to tell me if its 1 loan or 2 loans. I had a loan years back for like $80. Most i took out was $300. If they are chasing laons for over 6 years ago no point. They cant pursue me anyways as per STATTUE BARRED. They also have not got their ABN Listed and even then ABN records reveal to be a basic business. Reading what others wrote it fits in with my issues. I am ringing cash converters to confirm. I have also checked with ASIC again very basic

I just had a person named Nathan call my father in law who then passed on my number. This company hacked two different Facebook accounts; harassed my uncle who was dying of cancer, and pushed my father in law into giving my contact number by threatening to turn up to an event that he had listed on his Facebook account. This time, he hacked my father in laws Facebook account to get his phone number and forced him to provide my number. This is harassment and I will be speaking to not long the Ombudsman but a lawyer about this behaviour.

I have explained to them several times that I am dealing with Fox Symes and getting legal advise to proceed with bankruptcy or Part 9, and so I am unable to pay them and am working on it. They (with different people calling but *hidden* is one of them) keep calling my friends and relatives and embarrassing me. They also have twice now called my neighbors who don't know me that well but obviously now assume I'm some sort of criminal.. Its harassment, surely.. Its not about paying debts and not hiding, its about common decency and respect for people that are doing their best.
