Nexxa Portfolio Management - Debt collectors.

They misrepresented a debt which NEVER EXISTED and tried to have me pay it to the tune of $940. I requested they provide the original contract. They then claimed to have made a mistake when they called 3 weeks later. They then provided me with a contract which had already been paid to another collector and then made demand of $918. I requested they hang up the phone immediatly (Which they must do BY LAW) 26 times to be told the conversation was not over. Have reported their illegal activity to Dept. Justice and Attorney General (Office of Fair Trading) and the ACCC.

I have a court hearing in 5 weeks time and have an exceptionally strong case where I am sueing Nexxa for $7,800 for punative damaged for misrepresentation of 2 debts and failure to comply with the National Secirities and Investment act through clear violation of my rights as a consumer.

RECORD EVERY CONVERSATION. ASK FOR PROOF. NEVER ADMIT TO A DEBT. They are liars and thieves.

Debt collectors going on a hunch... Hide your Facebook friends... Call your service provider... They can recommend a app to filter calls also put a complaint into Facebook. Because they will stalk you and anyone you know. If they think ur the person u are trying to track down. Facebook May be Able to block their ip... From accessing u or people connected to you.

Nexxa portfolio management. Debt collection.
I got a call from *hidden*. He was trying to track down a person who has a similar name to me. He will contact your employer friends family harrass, interrogate and ask them to disclose personal information about you. He does this on a hunch.
I asked them how they got my boyfriends number and made connected him to me.
Nexxa could not disclose how they got his number this which alerted me to either my phone was hacked or he was Nexxa portfolio management. Debt collection.

Nexxa could not disclose this which alerted me to either my phone was hacked or he was researched and stalked on the internet. I had to call the company and advise that they had the wrong person. They will contact any lead that could possibly be a person connected to a person they are trying to track down your friends employers to determine if you are the person they are chasing and obtain personal information to rule you out.
It put a burden on my friends and employers wasted their time and resources just because of a hunch that you are the person they are chasing. It's pretty humiliating and caused a ripple of chaos.
*hidden* some how found my boyfriends mobile number and via him queried where They got my bfs number the could not determine or provide information on this which alerted me to the fact it wasn't done legally. No company should not be able to contact a person or people they are related to until they can prove beyond reasonable doubt that this is the person they are chasing and these people are without any doubt connected. They should not be able to contact people on a hunch. Unprofessional!

I have had several calls from this bloke "Mike *hidden*" who was very evasive when questioned as to who he was or worked for. He says he is trying to contact my son to discuss a personal matter but would not give me any further information. He sounds like a sneaky bastard and after reading this forum I will convey this to him when next he calls!!!

I have a DVO & now a restraining order against my ex. He owes these guys money & somehow they got my details. Yet when I asked how they contacted me on my private number they weren't able to discuss it further. One way street for privacy it seems. Praying that they don't tell him any of my confidential information & he somehow finds me again. The police or government need to shut these people down for breaching innocent people's privacy & potentially putting lives at risk

I got a facebook message from a fried that a Micheal *hidden* was trying to find me and was an old friend, he gave the frind on fb an address that was not ours when we lived in that town and knew nothing correct about my wife so we wont be calling him back, mainly because we don't have any money to call back with, no credit on the mobile phones because telstra sucks it all out as soon as it goes in, no landline and no money for a phonebox call

'*hidden* *hidden*' is Using Facebook to contact anyone who "might" give out personal information friends, family, places of employment, even people i have never met in person chasing someone who is vaguely connected to me. I HAVE NO DEBT yet he is using MY PROFILE to harass people. He has given 3 different excuses of why he is trying to contact the person to three people that i know of. I call this harassment. When asked where he is getting people's personal mobile, home and work numbers from he refuses to answer and dodges the questions or hangs up

These guys are debt collectors. They buy age old debts. These debts were brought from original creditors for low price, then they make their money by charging you fake intrest.these type of debts they usually get are usually debts where no payments have been payed for 5-6yrs. They call you to put some money onto the account to show some commitment. But what they dont want you to know is that once you put 1 cent towards it, you are now in their debt. Theres a law called statuted barred. Which means after 6yrs from your last payment, they cannot persue you for the debt. They cannot order court judgement, unless one was put prior the 6yr ending. There are certain conduct that they must abid by.
