Voice recording saying they were going to debit $299.99 from my account. Did not give a company name. Assuming this is a scam.

Received a messag saying that they were going to debit $299,99 from our account, Message was a recording

Caller: Supposedly eBay calling.

Definitely a scam asking to send my details back to the to get a refund.

Automated message claiming to be from eBay regarding an purchase request for $299.99 debited to my account. The message leave a number ((03) 5294 0137) to call back to cancel the order and to request a refund.

This is a blatant fraud attempt. DO NOT ANSWER.

I got a call supposedly from eBay saying I have a purchase request for $299.99 and it won’t be posted unless I confirm my address and bank details

They sent message saying they from Norton and will auto-renew with charge $229.79 toward my bank account.

He said he was Ebay...said someone with my number tried to purchase a gift card for 299.00 Asked me to fill out a form to cancel transaction. I refused and hung up.

When I rang back, was advised by a human that someone had hacked my eBay account and I was being charged 299 for an iTunes voucher bought off eBay. Clearly a scam

Left voice message claiming they were going to deduct $299.99 from my ebay account.

Scam. Hang up. Don't call back as no answer.

Caller: Scam

A man claiming he was from eBay said someone had purchased a gift card on my account. I gave him my first name [only] and then when he wanted to "connect me to the eBay server" he asked if I had Android or iPhone. I asked why he needed that. Repeated that it was to connect to the server. Reminded him that he should not have to do that to process a refund, and he got all quiet and didn't say much to me after that.

I hung up.

Same as the rest , going to debit money from my ( non existent ) E Bay account.

Scammers - said they were ebay trying to refund a suspicious transaction. I asked them why their number ran through as a suspicious number and they hung up on me.

Automated message saying they will deduct $299 from my ebay account unless I cancel them. Definitely a scam, I checked my actual ebay account and there is nothing there.
