Scam call

Insurance scam. Started by asking me for my full details, when I asked what for they said a car accident I was in, When I said I hadn't and I would report the number , they immediately hung up. Don't give your info to anyone!

I had the time so I engaged with the caller. Went through the routine of having an accident then asked what type of phone I use. Lied as to type. Then asked me to open a app on my phone; no idea what he was talking about. Told him the app was open. He asked what I could see. I said, 'I tell what I can read. It says you are a low-life scammer and should be in jail.' Then a pause. Then he hung up. LOL

Caller: 0488 859 965

Caller said a first name and that he was from a conpany called Legal Assist.Regarding an accident from this phone number.I said listen stop calling and trying to scan people,Nobody has been involved in a car accident.His reply was an angry,Did I ask you for any money?I repeated the dont call me again you repeatedly call im sick of it your trying to scam people just stop.Again he said did I ask you for money?I hung up and blocked the number suggest anyone getting these calls to block as soon as the mention of Legal Assist is spoken!Low life scum trying to make money of scam so done with them all!

I received a call from this number and as I didn't recognise the number I didn't answer the call. No voicemail was left. I have now blocked this number thanks to all who have made comments about this number. Thanks everyone.

Scam call. I normally don’t answer numbers not in my phone but am waiting on a phone call from someone so I answered it. Distinctive click and I hung up immediately. After that, got another scam SMS from 0481 270 283 saying “Important contact attempt: If submission is not received by 4:30 you will forfeit your submitted total-and transfer preferencesL https://wiry.site/mwd3zu”

The message arrived at 1706 AEST

Caller: Silent upon answering

19/7/21 - Silent on answering. Re-set my caller ID to "do not show ID", then called back. No dial tone and no response. Added this number to my "PEST" directory which blocks any future calls from the number. Best way to fix these SOBs. I hope their homes get infested by fleas.

Legal Assist Scam
I suggest calling the number back repeatedly and telling the person who answers that they are low life scum - they really appreciated it the 20 or so times I have done it so far ;)

Caller: They said they spoke to me in regards to buying my business

Lady left a message and said that her director spoke to me previously about buying my company. They called from (02) 8011 4183 and told me to call this mobile number.

The whole accident thing. I told them, some long time enemy put a stick of fairy floss though my front wheel at traffic lights. My call was escalated to the supervisor who in his 13 years of doing this sort of thing had never heard if a fairy floss accident before. I told him I just had another accident, a trouser accident, he was interested in hearing more about this. I explained to him what this was and he said. Ok, bye.

I remember back in 2010 when I first got one of these calls.
The memories all came flooding back.
I just laughed when the very thick Indian accented woman introduced herself and said I’m not and idiot.
She replied with “ you must be if you do t want all the money you’re entitled too”

Now we all know just hung up and block future calls all good.

Now the money we have all outlaid over the many many years to telcos, you would think they could invest some back to stop these calls reaching us yeah? So to Telstra pick up your act as the next call I get my name will be CEO and will give out state and suburb also as that info definitely not hard to obtain. May even go a little further who knows? So pick up your act and hold yourselves accountable for the heartache others may incur through your incompetence and ignorance regarding scam callers. FIX IT TELCOS NOW.

Said she was from Legal Assist regarding an accident I had recently. I asked her if she could hold on while I take my pain killer medication, she said yes certainly. I left phone unattended for approximately 10 minutes while I feed my 60kg Rottie. I then shouted out hold on another minute. I returned to the phone and guess what ?????? As a genuine scammer does she waited for my return. I asked her what she would of be doing if I hung up on her 15 minutes ago? Her reply was she would be talking to other parties lawyers. I said I was glad she wasn't as we need to clear this matter up. She again said with an excited voice "Yes we do sir". I then asked her if my name was sir or is it Jack Meoff? She replied it's Jack Meoff and at that stage I lost it lol. That's right scammer I said go Jack yourself off and the other low life's you have there and hung up. I then blocked the number.

Like to play games with those idiots , keep em on the phone as long as possible , waisting there time , pretending not hearing very well,😂😂let them repeat every word 10x , and building up there hopes, only to tell em in the end “Thanks for the chat Looser”and safe passage to Hell🔥🔥

Scam! The call sounded like it was from overseas and poor quality sound. The caller was not very professional. I had to ask multiple times where they were calling from. They wanted details of any accidents in the previous two years. I didn’t give them any details and neither should you.
