Standard car crash scam. Female with an Indian accent.

Someone claiming I had an accident. I hung up.

Some person asking about a recent accident I had been in. Clearly a scam.

Answered phone. They hung up immediately

Yep scam Blocked why cant the telcos stop this they make plenty of money...I believe the Telco's are responsible for allowing this to go on....Are they not required to ensure the safety and privacy of their customers?

Caller: Another Scammer

Some foreign female named Monica trying to tell me about a non existent accident I was supposed to involved in. When challenged about the so called bogus accident she terminated the call. Another serial pest.

I answered the call, there was a click then they hung up.

Caller: Legal Assist

Caller said they were from "Legal Assist" calling about an accident i was involved in. I asked for details about the "accident" and how they got my details. All she could tell me was that she was asking if i had been involved in an accident and my details were obtained via their "survey team"... She couldn't tell me how the survey team got my details. When i pushed her to tell me why they were calling, all she could tell me was that they are given a list of people to call and a script to run through. I told her she was conducting enquiries based off illegally obtained data and there are significant penalties for such scams when she is caught. She burst into tears and asked that i don't report her because she's just doing her job. I've reported to every avenue i can think of (police, ATO, scam watch etc).

Said his name was James and was from Legal Assist. Asked if I had been in an accident recently, I said no. Then asked if another member of my family had been in an accident. I hung up, knew it was some type of scam. Had an indian accent and could other people on calls in the background. I immediately blocked the number.

Said she wasn't from a call centre (other operators heard in background), said it wasn't a scam, said she was actually in Australia but the accent was anything but... wished her a good day in a colloquial Anglo-Saxon dialect!

She was asking me if i was tyler ransom? I said honey im holding you to ransom now what scam are you running today and how much are you paying me? Poor thing hung up. 😂😂😂😎

Scam call, long pause then a distinct click on the phone. Started banging on about legal assist and car injury claims. BS

just a beep sound and they hang up , i said nothing , wish they rack off the low life losers SCAM

Lockdown is over and scam calls are back!!!

This number and 0488 859 966 calling close by each other (only one digit difference). Called us a few times. Don't give them chance to speak based on this info above

Told me i had been in a car crash and i owed money. I have not been in any accident but these scammers are common. I just angrily told her to never call me again and hung up.
