I didn't answer, but no message was left.

Very much a scammer...

Had a call from an unknown number. I don't answer these calls. From the comments its the same old Insurance Scam from a few years ago. Can't be bothered with them. Number is now blocked. Don't see much point in having a Do Not Call register if these sorts of people can still get through the 'cracks' by their underhanded methods.

Caller: Legal Assist

They said they were from Legal Assist, I said you are not Legal Assist. She got angry and said how could I tell her she was not from Legal Assist. I said I had these call before and she should stop call this number. She got more angry and hung up.

Caller: Sarah (but clearly Asian accent)

Said she was calling from Legal Services And asked me to identify myself. I told her that she called me and she knew who I was.
Then said that she needed to confirm I was who was supposed to be answering the call. I said tell me and I’ll confirm. I then said that she was nothing more than a filthy scamming C#^* and could ‘get further down the road’ and hung up.

Said they were legal assist and I had been in an accident- they could assist. Very persistent.

Scam - I've received several of these.

stupidly answered this number not in my contacts. All I heard was a beep then nothing. Assume they are scammers testing to see if it's a 'live' phone number before they try their spiel on me.

Caller: Someone working on behalf of Solicitors

Looking for confirmation if I had had a car accident. I suggested they were a scam. She said not, she just needed confirmation if I had been involved in a car accident, that was her job. I asked when was it supposed to have been. She said she just wanted to know if I had had one. Of course I said no. She said okay and hung up. If she was the real deal she wouldn't have accepted that without more details.
