Some loser trying a scam.
Wanting to collect additional information for my account or I would be locked out.

Yeah right. as if. SCAMMER. and a very bad attempt at that, not even a fake link to get me to where they wanted. dumb ass.

SMS as follows:
PayPal: We need to collect additional information from you.To avoid any impacts to your account, please log in to your PayPal account & act now.

Caller: 0485 872 975

Text saying "PayPal: Your security code is: 666648. It expires in 10 minutes. Don't share this code with anyone."

Caller: Scammer

Pretending to be Paypal, tried to pretend someone was hacking my account by giving me a security code

Any 2FA security codes will come from numbers you can't text or call (in my experience at least).

SCAM. Received an SMS which said:

PayPal: Your security code is: 569102. It expires in 10 minutes. Don't share this code with anyone.

Sent text messages regarding future paypal payments and also knows the bank card number

PayPal scam. Number blocked now.

Email and then text asking to log into PayPal and update info scam

A text message headed "PayPal Security Alert" asking if l logged into my Paypal account at 12.38pm yesterday. Wanting me to type "Y" or "N"

Bloody idiots didn't even bother putting in a link. :)

Caller: Scam - Paypal

Claimed to be from Paypal and wanted me to update my credit card details or my paypal account would be locked forever and I would never be able to purchase online again (unless I give my credit card details). Hmmm how about NO

Caller: Scam Call - PayPal - 2.34pm 20th Nov 21

Hacks any recent payment on PayPal, sends a fake SMS py.pl prefix with a link. Do not click.

Got an sms from this number telling me to log in to my PayPal account to give additional information otherwise my account will be impacted.
Also received same message in my E-mail account BEWARE

Sent in a text message, they needed me to log into my PayPal account needing more information otherwise my PayPal account would be compromised.
Scammers beware…

Scammers saying they are from Paypal, needing more information from me. Rang the number back but it does not exist. More Mumbai maaderchods. Multiculturalism - a scourge on society.
