Indian call centre with spoofed number. Knew my name and started asking me about my electricity bill. Said my bill was going up and how he could save me money etc. I have heard this is a scam. I have received unanswered calls that do not leave a voicemail from several very similar numbers.

I called back number 0480 022 814 rang once then gts disconnected automatically.

It stopped ringing after about 4 rings, way before I could answer. Thanks to all above posts - I blocked the number.

Number called at 15.33hrs, 2 October 2020. Answered but said nothing as I knew it was a scam number. I am on the Optus network.

Rang , didn't leave message , rang again about 1 week later agin hung up with leaving mo message , So I'm not ringing them back

I picked up the phone, then it hung up automatically.

Same call from some random asking me about an energy saver. Hang up immediately.

Caller: I answered

I answered the phone call, woman started talking about electricity bill. Told her f**k off and hung up, the woman then called me back told me to f**k off and hung up on me.

Hung up when I answered. I've blocked the number as suggested above.

Called and did not leave a message. Checked the number online and found these complaints. Have blocked the number now.

Numbers I don't recognise calling at 7:30pm and not leaving messages get checked here and then blocked.

Caller: They claimed to be my electricity provider

I asked them who, they then said that they wanted to make me aware of a update to pricing from 'my' provider. I said I do not have electricity, she just hung up

Said Hello (no identifiers)

Said something with an Indian accent way too quickly for me to understand, decided it was likely spam and hung up.

Accidentally answered. Immediately said he was calling to help me save money with my electricity bill. I said I don’t take care of that bill and hung up.

Indian scammers. Calling many times. Energy bills !!
