Same about the electricity bill, and I asked the guy which company he is calling from, and he said he behalf of all the electricity companies...Hang up straight away.

the caller said he we would have received something in the post about energy savings. I had fun with them asking what the company was and what address they sent the letter too. They hung up quickly; it was very satisfying.

just waste their time and they wont call back. And if they do, have fun with them

Unknown number. Picked up phone, no answer then call was disconnected. Based on below posts, i've deemed it to be a SCAM and have consequently blocked the number.

Called me just as I was putting my son to bed. Super annoying and not the first time I’ve heard the same thing about electricity bill savings.

Said they were and energy saver company. Asked for someone who wasn’t me, got angry and abusive when I told her she had the wrong number.

This is a scam, don't answer the call. Not sure where they got my name and phone number.

A woman phoned me ... it appeared to be an overseas call. She said that she was calling from a company (which I asked her to repeat the name she didn't) in regards to my outstanding electricity account - which I of course don't have. So I very unpolitely told her where she could go .... I find if you are unfortunately put in this situation, how to get off their horrible, scamming call backs is to be a little rude. Which barely justifies what they are trying to do to honest people.

Lady with Indian accent, saying ‘this is regarding your energy bill. Do you pay bill?’ I asked which company you’re calling from, she just repeat ‘I’m calling from an energy company, do you pay bill’
