Read comment that it was australia Post. when i rang this number it said that incoming calls werent excepted. Aust post said drivers dont ring customers

I contacted Australia Post re text message received asking to answer to either option 1, 2 or 3. They replied via email and confirmed the messages I had received were from them. They did also say that if no reply is sent back they will simply deliver as per usual anyway. But always good to be on guard as there are loads of scammers out there.

Message saying my parcel would be delivered today. I was expecting a parcel today and it was delivered today.

Caller: I got a text from AP and then a text from this number. AUSTRALIA POST

I THINK THIS IS A SCAM AS I DID NOT ORDER ANYTHING. I THINK THEY ARE TRYING TO FIND OUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO BE HOME OR NOT. WATCH YOUR HOUSES FOR THEIVES.

AusPost: SMS says have delivery from Amazon USA. Not expecting anything. Either scam or they have wrong mobile number. Same message last week which I also ignored.

Apparently Australia post but I haven't ordered anything and these messages don't look anything like the real ones from Australia Post when I've had genuine orders.

It is a legitimate automatic text from Auspost, and likely you also received an email from them if you have also supplied your email address to Auspost, Start Track, or the online company you purchased from. I always ignore them as I am a night shift worker and just prefer them to follow their default method of delivery:- Check to see if someone is home (They don’t), then put a pick slip in your mailbox (Which they do because they are too lazy to go to your actual door and knock.) It's a legit text from StarTrack Express. I don't bother replying to them anymore because they're pretty much ignored.
Tried replying with 3 (take it to the post office) and they delivered it (and bothered my mumzie) anyway.

I think this is a scam as they said they have a parcel to deliver from Australian Defence - I haven’t ordered anything from anyone let alone the defense department!

It was a genuine message from Australia Post regarding a parcel delivery asking me to chose delivery method.1) With signature 2) Leve in a secure place 30 choose anoyher delivery address. The text message was genuine

SCAM, but was waiting by front door with my 2 large hungry dogs who needed a feed.. Sadly, no one came!!
