Someone who cares

OK, here is the thing, they call after 6pm at night, when you are probably preparing dinner or on your way home from work, but really, in YOUR private time.
Here is my point if they were a genuine respectable market research company,
a. they would leave a message, rather than call and hang up if you don't pick up; and
b. they would offer you something, as they are taking something from you
they don't do either
so they are just another shonky wanting to use you.

My advice ..... use an android mobile, save the number as a contact, then BLOCK it, job done, they can't bother you again by call or text.

Nobody, and i mean NOBODY want's to be called/woken/interrupted by you arseholes, just for the sake of a random survey, or to be hung up on, got it?
NO ONE!
I am now ignoring, then blocking a number nearly every day because of fools like YOU that either call at tea time or just as i'm getting to sleep after a nightshift.
Would you like me calling you between 2 to 6 every morning, waking you, then hanging up?
I am so sick of you bottom feeding pricks, you prey on people that cannot turn their phones off for some reason, then harass the sh*t out of us at the most inconvenient times.
Enough is enough, it's time this whole phone rort is bought to a halt, and you turds be held accountable for giving all of us the complete and utter sh*ts!
SO PISS OFF!

Mark, your comment regarding the Telstra phone to help overcome these calls is very welcome advice and thank you. However, to state the obvious, we should not need to go out and specially buy a phone so as we can stop this endless to raid of trash coming in from people such as Wallis Marketing and Social Research who claim to be doing a public service. Absolute rubbish.

To the Wallis Market and Social Research poster of July 25, 2016, you need to look at the terms of the Do Not Call Register. I am on it, worked in the telecommunications industry for a long time. You might be doing a survey for the government, but you need to be from a government party or organisation to be exempt, not doing their survey's. Your office has the balls to simply hang up when answered, this is a nuisance call in turn. SPAMMER.....

From Wallis Consulting website. "Wallis is a proud supporter of Privacy Awareness Week (15 - 21 May 2017)". Yeah?

Been getting a call daily from this number for over a week now. I have been trying to contact Wallis but they are ignoring everything. I had my number put on an Advertising Standards DO NOT CALL list that all legitimate survey companies are supposed to take notice. Wallis appear not to be legitimate or ethical.

To Wallis Market Research: What part of DO NOT CALL do you arseholes not understand? We shouldn't have to come cap-in-hand and personally ask you not to keep calling us. Putting my name on the Do Not Call register says very clearly that I DO NOT WANT ANYONE cold-calling me, barging into and intruding into my home and interrupting whatever I am doing for the purposes of trying to sell me sh*t that I don't want or in some other way profiting by exploiting my time and personal information. If you want to talk to people who want to participate in your surveys, call-up and talk to people who are not on the Do Not Call register. Your comments in reply to complaints on this site are a clear two-fingered salute and a declaration that you intend to just ignore those complaints and continue right on with your annoying behaviour. Two fingers right back at you.

I have contacted Wallis several times now to stop ringing me. Also had my number recorded with with https://adstandards.com.au. and a few other bodies. Obviously Wallis do not follow Advertising Standards.

Its only market research. Give them a break. They're not selling anything or trying to scam you or get money out of you.
