A woman called saying she was from "Bank Security Department" and that an amount of $499 had been deposited into my account. She went on to say that they have a website that is on Google that you can access to get information about them. I said "Great! Which of my bank accounts did you deposit the money in then?" and she hung up :(

Lady with Indian accent claiming to be from Telstra and that they had detected some internet fault. This is a scam. Do not give them any information.

Caller: Pretend to be from telstra

Claimed to be from Telstra trying to fix the internet quality through mobile. After questioning why not send a technician and what information is needed from me, they hung up the call.

Caller, a lady with an indian accent, claimed to be calling from commonwealth bank. saying there's a fraudulent transaction of $800 transfer to Global Travel and wants to verify if its genuine. Hang up after I said I will check online. Definitely a scam caller.

This caller left a voice message. I listened the message and a woman's voice was saying 'hello?, hello?, hello'.... I could hear a lot of people talking on phones in the background - sounded like a room full of telemarketers. I did not call back.

I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. Turned off my caller ID then called back - got a message the number was busy. I assume it is either a marketing cold caller or a scam so I blocked the number.

Got the same today. As soon as she started i said "I don't bank commonwealth and you are a filthy scammer" and hung up

robot claiming I'll be charged $99 for my Amazon Prime account renewal. Hung up, knew it was bs.

Was a male voice saying that my Amazon account would be deducted by $99 and I could press #1 to get more details. Obviously a scam, did not return the call

Exactly the same call was made to me with exactly the same amount and company. Line also had poor reception. Just to waste her time, I kept answering no to all her questions until she hung up. 100% scammer.

Claimed to be from Telstra regarding my internet account. When i asked what name the account was under, the caller hung up immediately.

Caller claimed to be from Telstra and wanted to fix a fault in my internet.
She wanted to access my computer via the Remote Desktop app.
When I suggested she tell me my full name and address listed with Telstra she had a guess at my first name and the post code she had for me was 2800 Klms from my current home.
When I laughed she hung up.
