Caller: Recorded message

A recorded female voice purporting to be from Amazon, telling me that they were about to take money from my bank account unless I pressed button 1 to speak with one of their people. Needless to say, I hung up on the call.

Caller: Scammers 3 times

Got the same number calling me every day for more than a week, at 4:45pm each day. Answered it this week. Monday was Microsoft security. When he asked me to install an app I told him I don’t have internet. He told me to use my phone data, so I told him it’s prepaid and I have run out. Then he asked me to go to the local library for free internet. When I asked how would I plug my computer in at the library he said “no, your phone”. When I questioned why he wanted my Samsung android phone because he said he was from Microsoft who made the windows on my computer, he got crazy and hanged up.
Next time this number called it was a lady from Telstra and I asked her a question. She got mad and hang up on me.
I miss the call yesterday but I got it today at 4:40 this time, another Indian lady, now she works for Commbank. I straight out asked her if she was trying to scam me and she denied it. I told her I don’t bank with those crooks and she hanged up on me.

Caller: Call Centre

When I answered the call there was a long period of silence followed by background noise which was obviously a call centre of some kind. Eventually a man's voice came on, just as I was hanging up the phone. Sure sounded like a scam call to me. They haven't called back.

Indian lady wanted my details as I needed to up grade and get a tech in to fix my NBN, lol funny I said I don't have the internet she said everyone has internet I said nope I don't, stop scamming people she hung up

Got a call from them twice today. Although you should never generalise and assume, as soon as I hear an Indian accent on the line and they initiated the call, I hang up as its a scam 99.9% of the time. I've told my parents never to engage anyone on the phone who has called them with an Indian accent unless it's my parents initiating the call to a known number and a person with an Indian accent picks up like the receptionist at their doctors.

Some guy just called me with an Indian accent saying he's from Amazon. I already knew what was coming next which was 'this is regarding a large purchase of an Iphone...' I hung up. Scam number - do not engage with these people!

Returned missed call, but this number has been disconnected

Said they were from Telstra & that it had been a few days and they'd noticed that my IP address had changed from private to public. Asked if I was aware & I replied "I'm not with Telstra". They hung up pretty quickly. 100% Scam

Woman with Indian accent, sounded like a busy call centre, said she was calling from some bank (bit noisy in her background to hear properly) and not believable. I just hung up.

Caller: A woman with strong Indian accent

She said she was from NBN and some attempted internet hacks were detected on my devices. Said she was from Sydney. I asked for the manager. Alex Jordan (also Indian accent) gave me his fake employee number and said they will help me "clean up" the attempted hacks. I said I will call NBN and will ask to speak to him - to which he very quickly disconnected the call. Always, always be suspicious of calls offering you help!!

This number came up as Spam Solar Panels on my Truecaller App so I blocked the phone-number. It looks as though they are trying to be creative with their scams.

This called did not leave a message. Now blocked. I block all numbers that don’t leave a message.

Called a business number that I am taking the calls for, claimed to be from Telstra, and started saying something about internet, then stopped said "Huh" and then hung up

Caller: Indian scammers

Unknown caller with Indian accent, with multiple Indian voices audible in the background. Unfurled some BS about an authorised deposit to my bank account. I suggested the caller was the product of human-goat copulation. Call ended abruptly for some reason.

Got a call from this number, was flagged by my phone as spam, they didn't ring for long and just hung up before I could answer it, might be linked to 0417 874 022 as they also called me 10 seconds later but hung up as soon as I tried to answer.
