This guy called me sayong i have downloaded some currupted files bla bla bla and that has affected my telstra internet speed. i intrupted him saying you scammer dont call me again, he threatened me stating i will call you again and again and harras you ok, i will do what want to .. this basterd are giving me hard time. i have blocked him now anyway

Someone from Telstra Technical Dept called to say that my Internet is ......... I said "wrong number". He insisted "Listen to me", twice. I hung up. This happened twice this week - once on Friday night, then on Saturday evening.
Block the number or Dont pick up the phone.

Said my computer was infected and proceeded to tell me my address and postcode as verification and wanted me to go to a "telstra" secure webpage to prove that he was from Telstra. Gave me a North Sydney address if I wanted to check it out. When I said I thought it was a scam and to stop ringing my number, he shouted that he is not a scammer and would come to my place and rape and then kill me as he knew my address. Then he hung up. These guys are getting abusive. Surely there must be some way to stop them.

I knew this was a scam after so many calls. I tell him to wait while I put in my hearing aids.Having 2 cordless phones and switching the second one on I then hold the second one with the speaker feeding into the first ones microphone and vice versa and the screerching is terrible.

Claimed my internet was reported to be intermittent and wanted me to sit in front of my computer. Scam!

These guys ring 4-5 times a day !

4 calls a day, even on a Saturday, with no msg - left on my 101.

called 7 times last night up to 9-15pm .Claim to be telstra tech dept

Constant calls from this number, 5-6 today, last being at 8:55pm. Had quite a few also at the beginning of the month, daily calls, same person each time. If I’m in the mood for a stir up, I waste his time too.
I asked every time whom he is speaking to and he says the last person who had my number, I continue to tell him if he was from Telstra, he would have the correct owner of this number. He has also passed in the previous person home address. Doesn’t seem to matter how many times I say I am not that person he insists I am.

This number has called 4 times in one day. I picked up twice but they hung up after around 4 seconds. Not interested who it was

This number has called the shop I work in 4 times today, constantly!!!!! They keep hanging up, they don't even say one word, it is very annoying!

Same as everyone else....Indian or Pakistani accent, not very good English, claiming to be from Telstra Tech Dept and saying our internet connection isn't secure! I wish these people would get a life and find something positive to do with it instead of trying to scam people!!!

getting calls now twice a day. When they tell me they are from Telstra about my internet I ask them who they want to speak to as they phoned my number and they cannot answer that or give me a different name ( I don't give them my name) so I tell them wrong number and hang up but the constant calls are getting very annoying. I check call display and now don't answer if (03) 9584 1205 but it does go to my message bank and they don't leave a message but it would register with them as an answered call so they keep trying.

These people are ridiculous... just call Telstra and ask to have this number blocked or better yet, buy the Telstra Call Guardian handset and you won't need to worry about them.

Received three calls yesterday with 45 minutes.
After answering the third call and when the female stated she was from Telstra
I replied "when are you going to fix your stuff up"
She hung up.

Claimed to be from Telstra Technical Department. I hung up and immediately blocked their number. Years ago, in the early 2000's, a scammer like this almost got me because they rang me at a time that my computer was really jamming up and this was before these types of scams were well known. They initially said their service was free then asked for money. At that point, I realised I was being conned and hung up. I see they tried again today and didn't get through. Scamming scum. :P Hopefully others Google this number and find this web page and block them as well.
