I called this number which said it was nab group of companies and that I should search the web for their number. When I call 132265, they have no idea.

Received a call today, but hung up when I answered.

I received a legitimate call from NAB financial Solutions today. They were very helpful.

1. Some people who post on this may be part of the scam or may not be..I am not suggesting people who say it is not a scam are part of it, but suggesting people should be careful what they read on any web page etc...
2. Automated call centres, if they are part of or outside of NAB but doing work for NAB or others (bearing in mind NAB does not only equal National Australia Bank ---- that is your assumption) have a system where the phone dials, if a person answers swiftly the person at the other end can speak to you or otherwise the 'machine' not human dials another number. This enables the people who require wide exposure not to depend on the call centre staff to phone when they feel like it.

This is a scam from India.

I get calls on a regular basis from this number. My number is silent (not listed anywhere) with only me ( and Telstra ) knowing it. It is a robot dialler to see if and when you answer so they can form a list of "live" contacts for telemarketers, etc.

It's a nuisance caller. If they are legitimate they would leave a message. Really sick of it, wish Telstra would shut them down.

It is a phone call from NAB Advantage. The message they left said to return the call on 1300 133 053 and quote a reference number. When I googled NAB Advantage, I got this -

Received a missed call from this number & it said to type in www.bla bla bla about MCL super & nab ? Now after confirming with mlc, they say its not them calling back & they have no idea who it is, & they don't use that number for call backs ????? Pls explain I believe its personal scam stealing info or maybe even stealing money from your account

Your bank has called you and you have missed it - they call because some one handed my card in.

yep it is a dud number... some poor prick earning a living via scamming people

there is every chance that NAB has you number as an emergency contact for fraud.....they sent me a message and I checked with the branch, number is 132265.....fraud direct to avoid long wait is 1300 622 372, on checking with online statement there had been 37 unauthorised debits from the Useless States of corrupt america. they are not scammers, NAB sent me forms to reverse the debits

yes NAB identified 30+ attempted fraud transactions form the Useless States of totally corrupt america, their secure fraud number in Melbourne is 1300 622 372

Have had a couple calls from this number and in the middle of the night. Can't see that it would be legit from NAB at 11pm and 130am

Received a call from this number, but they hung up as soon as I answered.
Immediately after the call was disconnected, my phone rang again with No Caller ID.
I receive calls daily from blocked numbers, am starting to wonder if it is linked to NAB.
