I had a message left by this number - UBank (owned by NAB). Legitimate call. Responding to a query I had made with them.

The caller hung up after I answered the phone, 2.18 EADST 20 October 2015. At what point is a telephone line disconnected if its being used to make nuisance calls?

This was a legitimate call from NAB Financial services dept about the eftpos terminal we are setting up. Not scam at all.

I just got a call (03) 8870 7000 and no I didn't call NAB or enquiry anything about the NAB

The creepy thing is ..... if it is NAB Home Loan guys, how do they know it was me and my number? I did browse home loan info on their website for a bit, then I got the phone call a few hours later.

Received a call today re Nab, they left a message to call back , re a on-line enquiry for home loan. gave a call back number .

This number rang me saying they were NAB but explained that before they could tell me the information I needed to identify myself by telling them my full name and date of birth. I replied saying I never do that and the NAB is always warning people not to give those details to unsolicited callers!!

Same - they ring and then no-one is there and they hang up..... will not be answering this at all anymore - wasting my time.
