Just has a similar call from (03) 8693 5488 - Asian sounding woman - who claimed she was from ANZ. Wanted to speak about a recent letter we had received, but wouldn't tell me more unless I agreed to the conversation being recorded. When I declined. She said I could call 13 13 14 to discuss. This number is ANZ's main number. So could be legit? Will call ANZ to find out.

Its fake. I don't have an account with ANZ, so they are scam artists. Blocking their number.

Just received a call from this number, some woman with Indian accent saying that shes from ANZ bank and wants to offer me ANZ Credit Card. As I already have Credit Card from ANZ, I new that it''s a prank call.

Its a valid ANZ number, the person I spoke to confirmed.

It will be a general survey/enquiry about how your service is going. You can call ANZ to opt out of them.

It is unlikely they will leave you a voice mail (they didn't leave me a voice mail) as they will want to speak to you directly.

I keep receving calls from this number at least twice a week for 3weeks now and have never picked up. I decided to Google this number and came across this forum. Thank goodness I'm not the only whose being harassed by this. Found it odd they would neve leave a message, looks like I'll need to block this number.

Don't be fooled into giving these fraudsters personal information.

Just answered the caller on the other line and totally clueless of who he was asking to speak with. Did not push things further when i told the guy he got the wrong number. Call listing.

This number called me a few times, they said they were from ANZ and they were asking me if i recieved there letter, i got busy and told them to call me back,

i then realised that its fake, and they obviously want my personal information,

dont answer their call !

This number (03) 8693 5488 is of ANZ Outbound Customer service.. ANZ..

Got my first call from them today, didn't answer as I was driving. I don't answer numbers I don't recognise anyways.

I too have had a few calls from this number....they are calling my work number now which is very inappropriate (even after hours). I answered one the other day and told him to call my mobile "after hours" as I couldn't talk at work...they haven't tried my mobile number yet....just the work number again....

Have been getting up to 3 to 5 calls from this number o our home phone and my mobile. He talked today asking for my wife on my mobile? Earlier comments indicate that this is an ANZ out-bound Call Centre. If it is I wish that they would just stop. If it is ANZ they need to know that as a rule nobody ever speaks they just hang up. Getting their call quotas up?

I don't know who it is. I will not answer a number if I don't know the number that appears. No message has been left yet.
But it sure is annoying!! So many people have states it is ANZ.

Getting this number call each day I have now blocked the number on my phone

Have been getting this call up to 3 times a day every business day!!! I'm fed up with it, despite being on the 'do not call register'. the one day I accidently picked up, the guy said it he was from ANZ to which I just hung up. We have a bank account with ANZ but seriously you'd think if it was urgent, he would have left at least 1 voicemail out of the 50 calls! Also my husband is the primary account holder and yet has not received one single call from this number - so that is how I know it is just plain out annoying sales calls!

Got a call from them today but I missed it. Guy sounded normal on the voicemail he left... not Indian or from overseas...dunno if I should believe it's legit or not but the fact it's a Victorian number when I'm from NSW is weird..

I get a call from this number up to 5 times a day. Never once leaves a voicemail and i cant answer calls when im at work and generally wont return a call from a number i dont know that doesnt leave a voicemail. Interesting to see its from ANZ

I've had several missed calls from this number (5 in fact and only just found out it was ANZ) the second time I picked up and no one was even on the other end, yet they are still calling me.
