100 scam i dono how they gor my number

I received a call from this number and the person said that they were from ANZ. They were asking about savings and what savings account I had. I didn't enclose how much money I have (I don't even enclose it to people I know). They then asked if I was interested in investing money or investments. I said no, I wasn't interested. They then wanted to set up an appointment to talk about my account/s and then asked where my closest branch was (obviously not from the bank or else they would have known that already). Then they reckoned that they were going to send me an email to confirm it. Not going to hold my breath as I was sounding very annoyed on the phone over it.

ANZ Bank offering a credit limit rise on my credit card. Really was the ANZ as they had sent info in the mail prior. Just would prefer they dont call with marketing. They have phoned before and did not leave a message when they got my voicemail.

I returned this call and reached a computerised voice purporting to be the ANZ bank (I am a customer). Naturally I hung up. I subsequently got another call from an Asian sounding voice, at a most inconvenient time, telling me they were making a courtesy call. I advised them that having a computer answer when I returned their call and calling me in the middle of dinner was not at all courteous and hung up. I'm not sure if the calls were legitimate or not.

I have been getting 3 to 4 calls everyday for the past week. I am going to block this number from my phone. They don't leave a message.

Got a call from this number yesterday saying they were from ANZ. She had an asian accent and was trying to sell me a credit card that had a rewards scheme attached to it. When I told her I was not interested in a credit card she kept going on about the reward points I could get if I had this credit card. I hung up on her after I had repeated myself about 5 times. Hasn't called back

A win. I tweeted and message on the ANZ twitter account https://twitter.com/ANZ_AU and told them I am most unhappy about this number calling me all the time. They asked for some information (postcode and full name) and have taken me off their marketing call list. Hopefully it stays that way.

I have had three calls from this number so far today. I have since gone to settings, call settings and added number to my call reject list.

Yep, been getting this number call me on my mobile, one call claiming to be from ANZ. I see it and don't answer it now. Suspect it's a scam.

Got a call from "Reggie" from ANZ. Wanted to know if I would be interested in a credit card. If this it legit, it's a really frustrating and invasive and pushy way of advertising bank products I AM NOT INTERESTED IN. I still get those bloody letters asking if I have considered a credit card. If I was interested, I would have applied ages ago.

Called ANZ and they said that it was a marketting number and I asked to be removed off all calls. Hopefully they don't call.

I also had calls from this number. As an ANZ account holder I contacted them. It was a 'courtesy' call in follow-up to an ANZ direct mailing (paper) letter from a 3rd party. As requested , they removed me from their DM list. Many companies use 3rd party DM agencies.

3. Added it to the landline as 'DNR' - do not reply.

I have been receiving calls from this number at least twice a day. They seem to stop for a week then continue again. After reading this post i have saved the number as do not answer.
I figured if it was the ANZ they would leave a voice message, but these people never do, I will probably get cranky one day and answer then tell them where to go.

I keep getting missed calls from this number also. When I rang back the recorded voice (Australian) said 'thanks for calling ANZ Outbound, your call has been re-scheduled'. Not sure what ANZ Outbound is.

I just got the same - A moment of loud music then a faint "sorry" and hung up. Something sneaky going on.

I got phone call from them many times recently, wondered what the numbers. Thanks for finding this thread. I will block the number.

I have this number on my block list. They rang up a few months ago asking to speak with my boyfriend about his insurance (he doesn't have it with ANZ anyway) and I told them this is not his phone and to not ring back.
I get a text on my phone almost daily saying this number tried calling and has left no message (my blocked numbers just go straight to voicemail)
Wish I could report them somewhere cause I am sick of my phone going off daily !

They shouldn't have our numbers. Nor should they call them.

I got this call and was suddenly busy and had to hang up when they asked for my full name, address and date of birth. I spoke to ANZ afterwards and they said that ANZ would already have my address and date of birth on file. I think it is a scam
