100% legitimate call from ANZ. I missed the call and was given a 1800 number to call back and it went direct line to who I needed to contact. I recently applied to change my loan to another provider and they called to confirm it and run over some details.

I don't answer it as I don't know who it is ringing some times 10 times a day even 8pm 9pm and if its anz bank I don't have an account with that bank

they said it is there generic number that appears when they make outbound calls,

This is ANZ's default number, I didn't answer as i did not know the number, however they sent me a text message stating that they tried calling me and to call them back on a 1800 number.

This is legit number. Called ANZ to confirm which they did. It is the FRAUD dept

This is a 100% legitimate ANZ number. I was suspicious at first, but they offered to send me an sms with numbers for me to call them back on. I then got an sms with two legitimate ANZ numbers that can be searched on their website 1800 888 410 and (03) 8699 6923). When I called the 1800 number, they verified that there were records on my account of a recent call from (03) 8693 0000 and that they had sent me an sms. While I certainly advocate being cautious, it's unfortunate that a legitimate number can get confused with spam, etc.

ANZ Falcon making sure I haven't been scammed as I had made a large transaction

It rang out because I was driving and went to message bank but left no message.
I currently have a matter in hand with ANZ so it may be legit.
If they want me they will probably call again.
