I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. Now I have looked it up and seen the comments, I will block it.

Caller: Australian Sports Association or something

Was unable to email me to verify their domain so I declined to proceed with the voluntary survey they claimed to be conducting. Starting asking for my age, postcode and then I got suspicious.

Said they were calling from the Australian Government ‘Village’ and wanting to a travel related survey.

I did the same thing

Received this phone call just now. Area code Victoria. I don't know anyone there or have bought something from there. It went straight to voicemail and could hear a English man with a child in the background. No message was left. I blocked the number after. (03) 8639 5130.

Checking out the number on here, it seems its a very dangerous number. I never answer unknown numbers. I'm sick to death of these interruptions. I hope they get caught!

Repeated calls. Blocked and unanswered as I NEVER answer land lines I can’t identify.

Caller: Some bird

I was having a sleep in and thought it was my Mrs calling so I answered and some bird that sounded like a middle age Victorian woman not Indian or anyone overseas was asking if I wouldn’t mind doing a survey saying it only take a few minutes of my time. I looked at my phone half asleep to see it was a Victorian number I didn’t recognise,I wasn’t in the mood and only answered because I thought it was my Mrs so I just replied uhhhhhhhhhhh!!! then hung up on her.
Later I searched the number and reading through the comments I’m glad I gave that reaction.
I’m blocking this number.

Looks like this number is up to its old tricks, can see past calls lodged here from 2019, its now 2022 and the same scam call, on a Saturday, claiming to be a non existent company doing a survey for the government on tourism. Its a phishing expedition, hang up and block them asap

Caller: Big Village for Tourism Aust

This number is coming from Big Village who are contracted by Tourism Research Australia (Aust Government) to survey people about their travel within Aust and overseas. It's a legit survey not a scam, if you google it the government website has info about why they do this survey every year.
